TP-Link Tapo L900-5 Smart Wi-Fi Light Strip

This is a good strip, nice colour range, easy to setup, has support for the same effects as the L920 but...I purchased these as they were slightly cheaper than the L920 I had previously purchased, everywhere online says they are just about identical except for the IP water rating and since I didnt need water resistance so I went with it.It arrived and I was excited to find it is mostly the same, great colours, easy setup... BUT this L900 strip is not individually addressable LEDs like the L920, this means you can only have one colour for the whole strip. Cant even connect and i cant even return it just gets stuck on the pairing screen and says failed it connect i tried everything apparently it may be the phone but im not tryna buy a new phone to use this DONT BUY if u have an iphone 11

Better value than Philips hue

Really affordable light strip but really good quality product. Definitely a solid alternative to Philips hue for more than half the price. App is also a breeze to use.

Disappointing and probably faulty

LED's don't always turn off. Some will always remain dim while the rest turn off. Sometimes they even flicker after being turned off. Wasn't very easy to set up and I have connected many devices to my home in the past

Excellent quality and easy to use!

Great quality & value for money. The app to download is really user friendly and lets you control all sorts of colour schematics and palettes. For the money, this light strip punches well above its weight.

Good for the price

Pretty good. I think it does the job. the strips are super sticky and doesn't budge which is super helpful. really convenient to control it from your phone. Not a HUGE range of colours and styles but sufficient for your basic colours. regardless for the price, its worth it.

Replaced hue lights with these

Got this strip instead of the hue play bar lights. The 75” QN90 is very slim and there is no room behind the TV, so this worked perfectly.They get very bright, and the 5m strip is exactly enough for a 75” TV. Easy way to save yourself $100 by passing on the hue strip.

great product, easy setup

i really like the product, simple to setup and works as it should. the only thing is that its bare strip, it doesn't have any silicon or plastic covering so just be aware of this, as i just assumed it would have it. for the price, yes i'd buy it again. also works with google home, very easy to setup.
