The pans work as advertised. There are a couple of things that I feel a little “meh” about: 1) They show every fingerprint and I can’t achieve that shiny look after cleaning them. 2) I didn’t realize (my mistake) that they would be a bit heavier than a regular pan. It’s OK, we are getting used to it, but do identify that when arthritic wrists and big pots of soup are combining, it could be a dicey situation. Something to keep in mind if you are buying. We purchased a whole new set of pots and pans when we bought an induction stove. We are happy with the idea that it will provide a quick and high heat (like gas) when desired, and offers energy-wise/planet healthy results (unlike gas), so all things in balance, we are satisfied, though would suggest a finish on the ... No matter what you make in this pan, it all sticks to it. I coated it with cooking oil and Pam together today, to cook some turkey bacon, and pieces stuck to the pan ! You can put just water in the pan, and it will either burn or stick! This pan Needs to be removed from Kohl's shopping list. Don't Buy this pan!! You have been warn!

We bought the pieces separately because none of the sets quite fit our needs. We cook A TON! I make three full meals a day and cook everything from scratch. I even make my own sauces, breads, jellies, pickles, etc. We run a ranch and frequently have a lot of mouths to feed. These pots and pans have been phenomenal! I’m very happy with the even heating and heat retention. Also, the weight, shape, and size are perfect for working the pans, tossing and flipping food.

I ordered this pan after having another company delay my order. Kohl's got it there with time to spare. The pan was such a great gift. I got it for my nephew's wife who loves to cook. She loved it. I am so impressed with Kohl's. I definitely will purchase from them again!
It was a light pan to use, a good size but when I first used it to boil water with the lid on, the tempered glass lid had popping noises. I had to contact the manufacturer and they told me it could be due to a few factors, the pot in contact with other kitchenware and told me to exchange it. I decided to return it as it's possible another glass lid will have the same issue.
This was actually my first time using a stainless steel pan. I cook my food oil-free too and I have been shocked at how easy it has been to cook with this pan. I watched a few YouTube videos and pretty much avoided the stainless steel learning curve and went straight to making dishes exactly how I wanted them! I love the pan so much, I make excuses to cook extra meals now! I really love the 6 qt capacity too, it’s been great for one-pot meals! Highly recommend this pan. It will last me a lifetime too, the quality is excellent!
This 6 quart sauce pan met my expectations regarding quality, cooking ability and the like. My only complaint (4 stars) is due to the pan itself being soo much heavier than the handle. It seems like the weight has not been distributed properly. If one picks up the pan by the handle only, you’ll immediately feel your wrist go down. If lifting using both sides of pan (with potholders of course) it helps to distribute the weight better.
I wanted a nice stainless steel fry pan to get away from the non-stick pans, so I bought this pan. I was so excited - couldn't wait to fry / cook in it!!! But I was so disappointed. I do a slow simmer with water for meat for tendernes and it boiled over the side of the pan and stuck to my smooth top stove. I tried 2 more times with the same results. So I plan on returning my dream fry pan.
I am obsessed with this pan. I do a lot of Asian fusion style cooking, I am not a fan of nonstick, I’m tired of dealing with cast iron, and I love cooking in a wok, but I got tired of seasoning it. This pan is perfect for basically everything! I made pad see ew, a huge fried rice dish, and Thai green curry in it the first week I had it. So much better than the Martha Stewart brand one we had before. The high sides, lid, and the way the bottom heats evenly make this a dream pan. Tramontina customer for life!!
I love the quality of this sauté pan. The size is good to cook for an entire family. Easy to make fried rice , chicken, mutton etc. cleaning is easy. Good didn’t stick at all. I did the water test someone suggested on youtube before using a stainless steel utensil to check the readiness of the pan for cooking and that worked well. Basically it recommends to heat the pan for a minute between medium to low heat and the splash a drop of water on it.. if the water drop stays like as sphere and bounces around the pan, you can put oil and cook, food won’t stick. I wash it in the dishwasher.. once in a while I use barkeepers friend to make it shine like new. I also use silicone or wooden spatula even though it says metal spatulas are ok.The pan is ergonomically designed ... MoreI love the quality of this sauté pan. I was worried that it would be too long with handle but I see that it’s easy to store in any lower cabinets. The glass lid helps too as I can see how the food is cooking from time to time. This pan is as good as any overpriced overhyped brand, it’s a value for money. I love this pan and I’m hoping it will last a lifetime.
