The MTB shorts are great. Quality made etc. Fit is good per size chart. The liner while quality runs small per the size chart. Recommend buying them separate and sizing up on the liner per size chart

Awesome MTB shorts!!! Fit true to size, really comfortable. Fit great, feel great. Superb quality. Glad I got them on sale!! MTB stuff is SOO EXPENSIVE in 2024. EVERYTHING is so expensive in 2024, but MTB stuff is always super expensive. It really helps when you can get a good deal on stuff. These shorts were like $70-$80 CAD off the regular price. Great deal!!

The fit on these shorts is great, not too baggy and not too skinny. The padded liner breathes well and is comfy on long rides. I have two complaints however. The padded liner has some stitching coming apart after 6 uses. The shorts also are pilling pretty bad on the front after a few rides. They have not came in contact with anything abrasive so that is pretty disappointing. For the price, I would look at something different for sure.

The snap button just doesn't want to stay buttoned. Had other pants with this style of snap button and same issue. I'd buy something else.
Love these shorts for mtb rides. The chamois is very comfortable and the shorts breathe well on long, hot rides.
Got these for my boyfriend who rides. They’re the newer, and apparently improved version of the same shorts he’s loved for a few years. He said they feel great, better the “favorite” pair so 5 stars! He’s getting another pair in a 2nd color!
The shorts seem to be holding up but the liner is absolutely the worse liner I have ever purchased. Bought 3 months ago and have worn 6 times, I have followed the wash instructions closely as I paid $117 for the shorts and liner and wanted them to last a long time. The threading in the liner has come undone and continues on each wash. I will never purchase another Troy Lee Design product ever again. I even contacted Troy Lee customer service directly and never received a response. Horrible product and worse company.
Fit and material is good. Pockets are good size and zippers 9including at zipper) are quality/work well. But as with almost all shorts that have the Velcro adjust waist, these creep down. The “Skyline” logo inside the waistband is the grippy rubbery material, and I thought this would prevent them falling down (I have a pair of Pearl Izumi shorts that successfully pull this off), but it’s not enough. The waistband adjustment is just not heavy enough duty - the elastic is too elastic, and the Velcro contact patch isn’t large enough. Also, the button closure is vague feeling - it doesn’t “snap” together audibly. It presses together in a mushy sort of way that always makes me wonder how long it will last. EXTREMELY glad that I got these on sale and didn’t pay full ... MoreFit and material is good. Pockets are good size and zippers 9including at zipper) are quality/work well. The short material feels light and durable. The zipper fly and pockets appear sturdy. Unfortunately the shorts are too short. The inseam is only around 12" compared to the inseam of 14" on my other shorts. This leads to a gap between my shorts and pads. They would be great for people with short legs or someone riding without pads. Also the blue color is not as bright as shown in the picture.
For some reason TLD puts out the same Skyline short every year with the same flaw: a velcro fly. The velcro wears out quickly, say, after one season, then the fly constantly pops open. I have other mtb shorts with zippers for the fly, and they work perfectly, season after season. Should we support stupid people who work at companies like TLD?
