Bought these tubes thinking they would be ideal for the Etape, as they were advertised as stronger than most tubes. First issue upon receipt, the valves were defective, letting the air out! Luckily, the Sigma team was very helpful and fixed the issue. During the Etape, one of the tubes failed again! Not a puncture, most likely a defect which lead to a flat tyre...Needless to say I won't order these again! On the positive side, this issue showed that Sigma has an amazing customer service!

Tried these out with rim brake Bontrager Aeolus XXX2 wheels ahead of the 2022 L’Étape du Tour and no problems. Ran nicely and didn’t deflate like the latex inners I usually use. But after less than 1km of descending off Galibier the front inner exploded - riders around me thought it was a gunshot - and deflated instantly causing me to crash. Really dangerous. You might get away with them with disc brakes or for a Hill Ride in England in October, but Summer rides, in hills/mountains…. Stay clear

I love tubolitos for my roadbike. They're brilliant, super light and I don't have any problems with punctures. You do need to check the die pressure mire frequently and after continuous use they might start leaking air but happy enough if that happens after about a year or so!! I know they're pricy but the feel of the bike is so much worth it.

I think this is my best upgrade. I saved 100g on each wheel. No punctures yet but i done about 200 miles. Im very happy.
Excellent tubes, seem very strong, roll really well and comfortable. The difference is noticeable. HOWEVER - I have returned one 42mm tube as it was leaking, no puncture, it was the valve. I am now having to return a second 42mm tube as it is doing the same. The tube looks fine but however tight you screw the valve, it works open and i can only assume through road buzz this is where the leak comes. On the flipside, I have two 60mm tubes in my 303's and they have been inthere ages with no leakage. Pressure checking a week later shows only a very small pressure drop.So i'm impressed if you can get them to work, but based on what I have experienced, I think the 42mm valves may be constructed differently to the 60mm??? Who knows.
Having used tubeless for 12mths it's not quite where it needs to be as from a personal level replaced more tyres in the last 12mths than in the previous 6yrs. This subsequently lead me to look at option as the old school tubes can be bulky and the great thing of tubeless is less to cram in the pockets. The Tubolito is an expensive option, but having tried them I've actually switched all my wheels over as the ride quality, speed and packability are closer to tubeless than the old form. Having watched a recent analysis they are within seconds of the tubeless option too so ideal for those longer rides where an UBER is certainly more than the cost of a tube.Worth a look if you can swallow the price, but the patch kit is cheap and I understand very easy to use.
Apparently they are twice as strong as regular tubes. I wouldn’t know as I’ve pinch punctured 3 of them trying to get them on. I’ve followed Tubolito’s instructional video on YouTube, was as careful as possible but still they punctured. Struggle to understand how they can be stronger than normal tubes if you can’t even get them on without damaging them.So £75 on tubes that never even made it out my front door. I’ll be returning the last remaining Tubolito and repair kit to Sigma to minimise my losses. Without a doubt the worst cycling purchase I have made ever in my life. Ever. In. My. Life. Either use normal tubes or go tubeless, but avoid these like the plague.
They seem eye wateringly expensive but reducing rotating weight but approx. 140 grams for 56 quid is actually a pretty good deal. Cant comment on durability properly yet but the reduced weight is certainly noticeable when climbing and accelerating.
Class new tech and a genuine alternative to tubeless with a lot less trouble.
I replaced Latex tubes with Tubolito just because I fancied trying them out, they both punctured very quickly, within a couple of rides and you then need a special repair kit. Put back the latex tubes and just written the whole thing off as an expensive experiment. With latex tubes I get a puncture maybe twice a year, with tubolito it's once a week..
