I've had some sturdy compost bins and some flimsy one, and this is on the sturdier end, but not the best. The best ones are those that are all one piece, and this one has 3 pieces that fit together, but the triangular shape helps. Happy with it overall.

Loved it. I have a small car so I could easily pop it in my car to take home. My housemate assembled it for me in a jiffy without even looking at the instructions it was so straight forward, (even though I had watched the video before purchasing it). The lid is easy to lift off each time to due to the easy access to handgrip on each angled corner.

I’ve had this now for 4 weeks and it’s working well. I fitted a metal mesh to the bottom to prevent vermin and put a brick on top to keep the lid on. Other than those adjustments, it works well and is easy to assemble. My compost has heated up to 50 degrees over the past week, and part of that I believe is because I added a whole heap of stuff from my tumblers that had already started to decompose and acquire the essential aerobic bacteria. As well as lots of brown material of course. Decent bin.
Had one for a few years now- it’s been good. The lid is actually pretty solid and sturdy, just needs to be pushed on properly. I always just give the lid a thump once I’m done. Good size, fits heaps in. One of the screws and bolts came out after assembly and got lost somewhere in the compost, and tumbleweed posted me replacements for free which was nice. I also sit it on wire mesh to stop rats and would recommend that. The side doors are handy and help to provide extra aeration.
I didnt like that its missing a bottom and a compost juice spout.
Bought this compost bin around 6 months ago - the wind blew the lid off the compost bin several times until the lid was lost - probably over a neighbours fence. Not strong winds - obviously a poor design. Wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone. Had several compost bins over 20 years, never happened once before.
I bought this compost bin about a year ago and love it, and I'm coming back now to purchase a second one. It took me a while to understand the right process for effective composting and at first I was just tossing in kitchen scraps alone. They turned into a soggy mess at the base and didnt really compost. Then with some Youtube "research" I learned to layer the scraps with greens (grass clippings) and browns (paper, leaves etc) and turning/mixing it every few days and we're off to the races. Simple to put together, good size and works well. I place a weight on the lid and a tent peg through the hole in the base to ensure it stays in place during high winds. Delivered promptly
very easy to put together. having read the reviews about the lid flying away, i simply keep a brick on top. all three sides have the slot you can lift up to look into. not big enough to put lots of branches in, but food scraps and clippings compress and so the bin fits plenty
