This is great for applying to the model before adding decals. It flows nicely when brush painted, can be airbrushed after a little thinning with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner, and isn’t thick enough to cover the recessed panel lines or rivets thus making the decals settle over the details nicely. Recommended!

The new line of Vallejo Metal Colors are really easy to use and will make any modelling project stand out with professional results. This latest line by Vallejo is acrylic; meaning, there's no foul smell, and clean-up is easy to do with water. If you have used an airbrush and had to thin down your paints so it could spray properly, you wont need to with these. Now, all you need to do is choose your color, (or make your own blend) and pour it straight from the bottle into your resevoir. Vallejo states that they have "designed a formula which results in a series of colors of exceptional resistance and adherence to plastics and metal". That is to say that they have greater ease of use and better results than most products up until now.
I prefer acrylic products, and this varnish from Vallejo is the best I used.
