Wacom Intuos Pen and Touch Small Tablet Black Small

I wanted to get into digital artwork and got this for Christmas one year. Before I had tried doing at with a mouse and found it a lot easier to use the pen with this tablet. Although it does get really hard to try and look at the screen to do smooth lines instead of down at the tablet itself. I think it would be much easier to use a screen. But, you can get used to using this one after some time. If you are on a budget, this tablet is perfect for digital drawing and will get the job done. It also comes with a cheap art program with some copies if you are lacking one. I'd look into some video about this to figure out which settings are the best for you. There are lots of hidden settings that are vital for digital art.

This is a great little Wacom for what it is. I've been using Wacom tablets since they certainly out and this kind of tablet was the only option. Now that we have the bigger HD displays and even the Wacom digitizers in Lenovo laptops, this seems archaic and hard to use. However, if you're a beginner or just want something lightweight and easy to carry, this is a very functional, inexpensive and streamlined option.

I was thinking about getting an updated version of my WACOM stylus pen, but thought mine works fine. I really wanted more area space to draw so I just went for it and got a new one over New Years holidays as a business improvement. Well it's a joy, pin point accuracy, at least one and a half inces more area drawing room to roam and it follows my hand/pen exactly. My other WACOM stylus pen was purchased in 1998 and has worked perfectly for all these years except the area of drawing space was limited. I love this product and with the ease at which it was to setup and begin to work, you just can't beat it.

It enables me to be more precise with lines and I get work done in half the time it took me to do work via mouse. Everything about the tablet is great. Sensitivity is amazing, the drawing surface is very large compared to other tablets and it was reasonably priced. The only con about this is in the Pen. The nib wears down pretty fast. This is due to the semi-rough texture on the tablet. Some people have told me to apply a very thin, transparent tape over the tablet to cut down the wearing, but I haven't tried this myself. Excellent input device for anyone to use

Pros: Good Control, Easy to UseCons:Other thoughts: I recently started colorizing old B&W photos, but my mouse was awkward to use and started hurting my wrist. After looking at reviews, I ordered the Bamboo. It took a little getting used to, but I now use it for not only graphics, but also instead of a mouse. More and more it's becoming second-nature to use.

Excellent tool!

Pros: Natural Feel, Good Control, Easy to Use, Lightweight, Increased ProductivityCons:Other thoughts: I do a lot of editing in Lightroom and Photoshop. This tool is so much more precise than a mouse. It works seamlessly once you acclimate to actual position from relative position. I'm very pleased, although, I'm still getting used to the difference. The more I use it, the more I use it!

I satisfy more than expected.

Pros: I was used former model.It was big to me. I gratification to size and price.Touch pad is really I ever wanted function.Reasonable price make me feel better choice.Cons: It is my palm size. And can feel portable size. I like this size.But If you want big tablet, recommend to move on cth-680 or bigger model.Sometimes touchpad function was little sluggish.Other thoughts: Beyond right corner have button.It's on/off touch function switch. I felt little confused.

Perfect for what I need!

Pros: Good Control, Lightweight, Increased ProductivityCons:Other thoughts: This is my first experience with a pen tablet.I did quite a lot of research and decided to go with the CTH-470.Set up is easy.The included tutorial teaches you the basics but is quite slow getting to the point.I already owned Photoshop Elements 9 and it works flawlessly with it.I havent tried it with the other included programs yet.

Works well, and not too small.

Plugged into Windows 7 desktop, drivers installed automatically. No problems encountered. Pad works flawlessly. Would love it even more if it were larger, but you get what you pay for. Would also be nice if this one supported the eraser on the stylus instead of just the pen tip, but that can generally be configured to be activated via one of the stylus or pad buttons so not a deal breaker.

Pros: works nicely.sturdy for its size.Cons: the buttons on the pen are really sensitive, easy to push, and almost always pushing them.sometimes the pressure sensor doesn't always detect whether you're pushing or not.Other thoughts: good none the less of the cons. it was basically a steal for how good it works.
