Unfortunately the V6000 clipper wasn’t what we were after. It is too big andbulky and doesn’t suit our requirements. So we will have to return it to store (when lock down is over) for a refund.However we have in turn ordered the superior performance SS lithium-ion black gold which we hope will better suit our requirements. I would like to compliment all staff for their assistance in this process. They were extremely helpful and friendly. Rating of 5 stars for staff.

This was so easy to use! Other half was in desperate need of a haircut after months in lockdown, so I bought this after reading reviews. It didn't disappoint. I've never had a flair for hair but this clipper made it easy to do a short back and sides, bit longer on top. There are enough attachments to allow for blending varied lengths, it's lightweight and the convenience of being cordless means you can use it outdoors if you don't want a hairy floor.

Bought these clippers and the cut is terrible. Used once and did not give a close cut at all. Reverted to my Wahl corded clippers which have a much better cut. Now I’m left with a pair of once used clippers that cost me $200. Very disappointed.

The unit arrived, I unpacked it on my kitchen bench, switched it on and thought to myself - how hard can it be? So I gave my head an experimental swipe and then found myself holding what amounted to a small kitten in my astonished hand. With a due sense of foreboding I looked in the mirror to discover the thing had removed every last molecule of hair in a single, careless stroke. So it works, yes. I then had to ensure I looked straight ahead in all my Zoom meetings lest my coworkers notice my Semi Mohican hairstyle. I’ve had this unit swapped over 3 times now! The plastic silver tab in the middle eventually falls off and is hard to snap back into place, this is due to the vibration of the clippers. Not sure if anyone else is facing this problem? Models from Poland were decent quality, but that too eventually failed.
These are the best clippers I have ever used. The cut is accurate, smooth and even, with no grabbing or the need to go over the same area multiple times. The unit is perfectly balanced and light enough that you don’t find yourself switching hands to give your wrist a rest. I’m 5 haircuts in and I can safely say my trustworthy corded Wahl clippers can be retired.Did I need to replace my (old) Wahl corded hair clippers? NO!Had they done me proud for 8 long years, cutting my hair and beard up to twice weekly? YES!Am I wholeheartedly satisfied with my purchase from the Shaver Shop: YES!Did they arrive a day earlier than I expected? YES!
When reading reviews for the Wahl 6000CC that said things like 'cuts like butter' I was sceptical. I have really thick, straight hair and the clippers I was using tended to tug my hair when cutting. I thought it was because of my hair type. How wrong could I be. These clippers are fantastic and have taken the tug out of my haircuts. Being cordless makes them even more convenient to use. Very happy choice and great online customer service from ShaverShop equals happy customer.
Worked well on my tough thick hair. The longest length clipper (size 4) is just right for a ladies "crew" cut. The comb was useless (teeth too wide). The main disavantage with WAHL was nothing came with instructions. I had to watch youtube videos to work out how to oil the blades and line up the blades.
Used to have a corded Wahl clipper back in Canada that we never had a problem with. Needed a new one since moving to Australia, so decided to go with Wahl again, but this time a cordless model. Spent a bit extra and went with the midrange model. Very happy with it. It will pay for itself over the next few months, as my wife cuts my hair and that of our 3 boys. Good quality shaver and attachments.
