This has been the ultimate product for my weekly shave. Been using this every single week only for trimming my beard. Only used to shave my hair once and pretty smooth. I always use this with the oil and no complaints. Comes with many sets of clippers but I only use number 1 as that's what I like and suits my beard hair. Also gifter one for my father not this one but V5000 not much difference just motor is quick on this one.This is actually a head hair clipper but I bought it just to shave my beard hair :D. Would easily last for 7 years "at least". I bought it on black Friday so got half price. Even the full price is worth every peny if someone is looking for heavy usage or day-to-day. Just use the oil every time you use and brom brom brom.

First time ever we have had to do our own haircuts due to the lockdowns and so ordered this contraption. We are very happy with our decision to buy this clipper. We researched the company (lots of positive reviews for both Wahl and Shavershop) and the product was delivered promptly. Went through the instructions and some useful online videos and viola we were using it with ease. We've since been showing off our crisp hair-cuts with friends and family online. The product and the dealer are both highly recommended.

I purchased the Wahl V7000 Hair Clippers due to being in lockdown in Sydney and my hair getting a bit unruly.The Clippers arrived within the week due to coming from the Lismore Store and arrived in good condition and I found the Clippers easy to use with the Quick Start Guide.I usually have a No 2 cut all over, so trying to use wasn't that hard or difficult on myself as I live alone.The whole process was fantastic, "Purchase, Receive & Use". I will get to use them a few times prior to getting back to my normal Hair Dresser after lockdown.
I bought this several years ago to cut my own hair. Considering I didn't use it all that much I was very disappointed to have the taper adjustment break, it is made of plastic and it is completely broken and this part cannot easily be replaced. I expected more for a product that was barely used. Does not age well obviously.

I decided to purchase this after a couple of failed (read cheaper) models and brands from retail shops. After using the clippers once I found them to be of superior quality and great performance. They feel solid (albeit weighty) in your hand and the cutting blades are excellent. With proper maintenance I look forward to many years of #1 scalp trimming. I think that these are built well enough to finally be a worthy replacement for a Gillette Family trimmer (circa 1970s) - built to last. Thank you Wahl, thank you Shaver Shop.

I took the opportunity to purchase the V7000 primarily because this model features the V9000 motor (distinct from the V7000 product designation).I use my Wahl clippers every 3 days in order to keep approximately a 0.6mm cut. So they see fairly frequent domestic use.The V7000 is noticeably heavier than my Baldfader, however this is to be expected due to heavier motor.The quality of the cut is typical of Wahl clippers. I doubt very much that this could occur on the V7000.There is no carry case provided as this clipper is aimed at semi-professional users and salon / barber shop use. This clipper is intended to be used “in situ” and never really carried around or placed in storage. Hence the lack of case.The taper lever is plastic, however it is thermoformed and is actually engineered with a realised factor of safety that far exceeds the load applied to exercise the function of adjusting the blades (won’t snap with normal professional salon use).The motor is noticeably quieter than my previous Wahl clippers. It also runs cooler over extended use.The cut zero gapped (at closest setting with no guides) is 0.5 mm which is allegedly 0.1mm closer than the Baldfader. I can’t tell the difference (if any) as the cut feels identical.Close attention MUST be paid to regular cleaning of hair from the blades, oiling with Wahl spec oil & semi regular disassembly of the head unit to facilitate thorough cleaning of the blades and areas normally inaccessible.I strongly recommend checking alignment of the cutting teeth as they have a tendency to be bumped out of alignment in transit. If you bump the head, be prepared to realign.Zero gapping the blades is as easy as previous clippers.Delivery was within 3 working days and was despatched same day.All in all, a solid purchase for either a neophyte to hair clipping or the more discerning and seasoned operator.I would recommend. Did my very first self haircut using the Wahl V7000 clipper. I watched a lot of YouTube videos on how to do it and it was a lot easier than I expected. With the provided combs and the amount of adjustability on the clipper, I ended up with a very neat tapered cut. I wanted a powerful clipper, so I didn't have to go over the same sections multiple times and the V7000 performed flawlessly. You can't go wrong with this clipper and the service from Shaver Shop was great.
we got this so we can maintain my brothers mullet at home during all these lockdowns.performs extremely well compared to other cheaper clippers we've owned.he has said its a really comfortable cut and I've noticed it to be extremely smooth too..the girl did warn us that as this clipper has the closest cutting baldes maintenance it key as if it isn't maintained it will blunt and clog and we'll lose the performance..I think in this instance it really is true you get what you pay for. very happy with what we have :)
