As others have noted, this little piece of plastic is pricey but it gets the job done. It's a good thing I had leftover Garmin components because this little piece doesn't work by itself. The biggest problem with it is that it stays attached to your Wahoo computer when you remove your computer from the bike. Not a problem if you only use it on one bike but if you have other bikes with the original Wahoo mount, you will have to remember to remove this adapter from the computer and put it back on the bike that requires it.

Does what I need, which is adapt my K-edge Garmin top cap mount for the Wahoo. I wish the adapter would stay in the K-edge instead of on the Wahoo when I take it out, since I’m using the Wahoo included mount on my other bike. But it works and keeps the device on the stem which I prefer on the mtb, without having to get a whole extra mount.

If you need to convert a mount from a Garmin to Wahoo, such as the one I had to on my Giant bike, then this does the job. However, $15? Seriously? This took cents on the dollar to make yet they charge $15 for this. The price is ridiculous. Especially given how much money I've spent on Wahoo products (computers, sensors, etc.). This is robbery. After I bought this I saw other products on Amazon and eBay for a fraction of the price. If I had seen those first I would have purchased them rather than spend the absurd amount of money on this.

The adapter does exactly what it's supposed to, and the thin profile is a big plus. My one small gripe is that it should be designed to be "easy" to detach one one side and "stiff" to detach on the other, so when moving from bike to bike, it comes with the computer or not, by default. You can go either way by the way you grab the ridges, but I would prefer that you didn't have to do that.
The adapter works well. It's baffling that it's needed. We celebrate the Industrial Revolution, we even cite standardization as a key discovery. Then, when we could apply our knowledge, we don't. The aero bars on my bike leave me with little choice of mounts.
I had hoped the mount adapter would allow me to use my Element on a Garmin mount, but no matter what way I put it on, the computer was sitting at an 11'o clock or 5 o' clock orientation. Disappointing. I thought about using it instead of the plastic Garmin insert, but I would have to drill a hole in it, and there are no "dots" on the bottom to orient the adaptor to the mount, so nothing to keep it from turning when I put the computer on.
It works but I wouldn't say it's tight and solid in the Garmin mount it attaches to. Wahoo wants $10 to mail this item that could fit in a first class envelope for under a buck. I guess they know that if you need it, they might as well nail you for $25. Very expensive for what it is.
In one sense I was disappointed that there doesn't seem to be a standard orientation for mounting accessories. The Blendr mount I purchased for my Wahoo ROAM was intended for a Garmin, whose connector is rotated 90 degrees off from the ROAM. The adapter seems solid and fit the Blendr mount and ROAM perfectly. It installed without a problem. So thank you Wahoo for providing this adapter so I don't have to look at my ROAM sideways! On the other hand, it would be nice if manufacturers could cooperate so a product like this wouldn't be necessary.
The Quarter Turn Mount Adapter does exactly what I wanted it to do, which is allow me to mount my Wahoo Elemnt Roam to my Garmin Out-Front Mount for the Varia UT800 light. I liked it so much that I ordered one for my son. Wahoo's customer service has been prompt with their shipping, and their e-mail replies.
The product works well and solved the problem of amounting my Wahoo bike computer to my Canyon aero bars using my old Garmin mount. My one complaint is that it cost me over $25 between the price of the product and the mandatory shipping fee to receive a piece of molded plastic that costs $0.25 to make. It’s wildly overpriced.
