The West Paw Zogoflex Jive Tough Ball Dog Toy is a game changer for energetic dogs! My pup adores this ball it's practically indestructible and provides endless entertainment with its unpredictable bounce. He's so attached to it that he won't venture outside without it, and it even shares his bed at night. I'm so impressed with its durability and his enthusiasm that I got a spare, just in case. A definite must-have for playful pets!

We bought this for our dog when he was a puppy. He is now 7 and this is the only toy that has ever made it more than a week with him. He systematically destroys every toy we present to him within hours of bringing it home. This ball has become his arch nemesis. He will literally gnaw on it for hours and hasn't been able to make a dent in it for the entirety of his life. We were recently toy shopping and I decided to look at the ball to see if there was any branding on it (I've never even thought to look) and it brought me to the website. We will be buying 2 more of these and trying out some other toys as well. Thank you for making the strongest toys ever!

I adopted this dog at 3. He is now 4.5yrs old. Husky mix at 70lbs. He has NEVER been interested in ANY ball. Not even other dog's balls. I have tried so many toys. The only thing he has ever used were puzzle games, and a few stuffed animals he would grab and lay with. I was shocked when ran after this ball. It was short lived because he is always on alert so, other things eventually interrupted. He was so happy!! The texture and semi soft touch is great. Thank you so much!!!!!

My 7 month old puppy loves this ball. She is 40 lbs and the large size is manageable for her, but a challenge to keep in her mouth especially since it has some weight. This only adds to the fun! She drops it and chases after it over and over. We play fetch with it (carefully indoors as it is dense and can be loud/painful/damaging depending what it hits). It holds up perfectly to puppyâs intense play. Every product we have had for both dogs from this brand is phenomenal!
This ball is a fan favorite at our home. Initially they did not like it as it is a heavy ball. It is about the size of a tennis ball, however, it is solid rather than hollow. The fun aspect is when you throw it due to the shape it will bounce in different directions thus confusing our pups which way to chase it. The ball is tough rubber that our pups have not chewed off any pieces. They donât tend to nom nom this ball as they prefer to chase it. Probably not good to throw inside since it does bounce around crazy like a super-ball. Sturdy & fun. Labrador and Bully breed approved
I have a 75lb, 6 year old, extreme-chewer pit bull and have been researching for a long time to find a toy he can have and not destroy. He is often a fan of the Black Kongs, but still manages to get pieces off after some time of chewing. And as I try not to get him super hard toys that can hurt his teeth, I wanted to find something better than Kong that would last. After a lot of researching, I came across your toys which even Chewy recommended I try for him. And after reading a ton of reviews, I decided to try the Zogoflex Hurley Dog Bone and the Zogoflex Jive Ball (both in the largest sizes offered). I monitor my dog pretty closely as I donât trust any âindestructibleâ toys or âextreme chewerâ toys because, well, they havenât met my dog, Major. I monitor my dog pretty closely as I donât trust any âindestructibleâ toys or âextreme chewerâ toys because, well, they havenât met my dog, Major. So within about 10 minutes of opening his Christmas presents (these 2 toys), he already started to get pieces off. I was picking up pieces before I was able to get the ball away from him. And then eventually took the ball and bone away altogether. It didnât appear that he was able to get off more than I had collected and didnât seem to be enough to cause any harm even if he did. However, I was sorely mistaken. The following day (day after Christmas) I was woken up in the middle of the night to him throwing up. He wouldnât eat, was lethargic, drinking but vomiting immense amounts every time. My parents (whom I was visiting for the holidays) and I had to hand feed him little bits of white rice and egg which he would barely take. Assuming by the small amount of ball that he could have possibly ingested, we werenât as worried until day 3 of this nightmare. We immediately took him to the hospital where I had to pay for all sorts of meds and X-rays. We finally were able to get the vomiting to stop, but he then suffered severe diarrhea for a couple weeks. Which meant more visits and more hospital bills. It wasnât until this week that he is fully back to normal and off meds. I honestly have not cried more and been more worried about losing my dog⊠Especially over the holidays.
This ball is ridiculously expensive, but I'm trying anything at this point to find toys that my new dog can't destroy and will actually play with. The large size is both! She loves gnawing on it, rolling around upside-down in a bed holding it in her mouth, chasing it all over the house, and it only has a couple teeth marks after a month. I'm pleasantly surprised since I figured the weird groove shape would give her a place to start gnawing at it and get pieces coming off.For comparison, she surgically separated a medium Kong Extreme bone into two halves in about a half hour, had a flap of a large Chuckit Ultra ball ripped loose in 20 minutes, demolished an "indestructible" Ruff Dawg donut in 10 minutes flat, and several other toys I've lost count of. The only other rubber toys that have outlasted her so far are the large Kong Extreme Ball, Goodie Ribbon, and Dental Chew, a couple Goughnuts toys, and a large WoofBite ball (similar to this, it only has teeth marks). Highly recommended (if you can find it on sale)!
I came across the Jive ball as I was searching for anything my Police k9 (Malinois) couldnât destroy in a matter of seconds. Heâs bite the top section off a black or red kong as he brought it back playing toss. Kong balls were durable, but they sank like a rock in water. So I tried a Jive with little expectation. Itâs been AMAZING. The unpredictable bounce makes my boy excited as he bounds after it. The ball survives the return trip well. I can toss it in the pool and he stops at the edge till it pops up and then dives in after it (donât get blue it blends in with the blue pools). Yes a super chewer will break the ball down if you leave it with them. Just toss it before it gets too small. Iâve shared with many K9 handlers in my area. My dog is almost 10, and west paw has been the theme of his life: frisbees, boz balls, beds, all of it. His last boz ball finally died, and I came here to restock, only to find they are gone, and there's lots of hype around this new ball. Well, it is NOT better than the boz. It's not even close to the same product. My dog usually is obsessed with balls, and he won't put this in his mouth. No joke. He loved the boz balls because they had a little give, and he could contentedly squish them in his mouth for hours, as if they were a stress/fidget toy. (He's 65 pounds and can take apart anything, but was always gentle with boz balls, and though he chewed them a lot, they lasted for years.) He also loved chasing them on land and water. I'm just so sad...I have never seen another ball like the boz, and it's almost insulting that the advertising on this jive thing assures us that this is better than the boz. If you've ever had boz balls, you know: the jive's not even in the same ballpark. I got a small and a large jive to try, and my dog genuinely won't touch them. Total waste of money, but the worst part is I now have no idea how to find anything remotely like the boz.
100% highly recommended. These balls are quite expensive, but so worth the investment. We have labs & these balls are their favorite. They are durable & the quirky way they bounce is a hoot! We've been using these balls for years (have purchased dozens) & they're the only balls we've found that are completely "lab" proof :-) Our dogs also like the balls that light up for summer night play.
