Very low quality product. I bought it because I was happy with all Westinghouse appliances that I have but this one is disappointing. It does not turn off automatically some times and could be very dangerous. It is hard to keep it close as well.

As with all we buy, value for money is in your needs. I wake up, flick the button and by the time I brush teeth the kettle boiled and ready to make coffee. It stays hot for many minutes. The black looks very stylish.
A light and efficient kettle which is quick to boil even when full. Sensibly priced.
I've had & used this kettle for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. Normally I wouldn't buy it for several off putting reasons you see on sighting, but circs forced it, and I'm glad, the lip is amazing....it never spils where all others do.
I've had this kettle for a month now and I don't like it. I don't like the base, which needs to be positioned in a certain way, made from cheap feeling light plastic, you need 2 hands to open the lid when refilling and it does not have the dry boil protection which I had assumed was a standard safety feature in all kettles. I switched the jug on, not knowing my daughter had used all the water, and went back after an hour to find it had been boiling all that time with no water in it. I will be buying a new kettle.
The kettle itself is good - note it’s not a swivel base. The description said it was stainless and I ordered on click and collect - I wouldn’t have bought it if I realised it was plastic. I would have returned it but needed a new kettle to boil water for baby’s bottles.
Works well..Boils fast and quietly....BUT... it's a post type (has to sit 1 way on base) and the water fill window is useless.. too hard to see how much is in it because of the Opaque section right down the middle of the viewing window.. because of this it's not as good value as I would have hoped from such a reputable name.
Quick service from Mitre 10 Albany for the quick delivery of this kettle, which is very quiet to boil.
