We recently "upgraded" from the medium Whimzees dental stick chew to the hedgehog chew. I think there is a difference in his teeth and I think the hedgehog design is better at getting at the hard-to-reach areas compared to the standard stick (our pup would just gnaw through the sticks).The larger hedgehogs do seem to impact his GI, just slightly, the next day - so these are only an occasional treat. All of the Whimzees dental chews cause our dog to want a lot of water afterward, so make sure there is plenty available.

The hedgehogs work best. I fill them with pumpkin purée and freeze them to make them last a little bit longer. My dog is 8 and has never needed a teeth cleaning. The vet always comments how his teeth are impeccably white. These are the only things I have found that help dog breath and clean teeth well enough to avoid any professional teeth cleaning. They actually smell good too! They smell kind of like French fries.

These are their after dinner treat when I'm eating my dinner. The large hedgehog keep the 10mth old LabDoodle occupied longer than the sticks. They remind me if I forget to give them a Whimzee when sit down for my dinner. I order different shapes to give them something "new" every night. Got to go order somemore!!

Its hard to find a good dental treat for my dog. Hes 65lbs but an aggressive treat eater with mystery halitosis. The vet simply can't figure it out. We brush his teeth every day (hates it) and tried many different dental (no interest in most) however the shape or flavor or something of the hedgehog whimzees is the sweet spot. His bad breath has measurably improved and he takes a long time to get through a chew. We have been able to move the brushing to every other day with these! :) I am going to try the other shapes to see if they are better or not.

My local dog bakery sells these and my dog loves them! We love them too. We usually buy the chew treats at Costco and Akira, my husky, will eat those in a few seconds. These Hedgehogs however last her maybe a half an hour to an hour which is great for her teeth health! They’re a bit pricey but totally worth the money! The bakery I buy these sell them individually so it’s not too bad!

My baby doggy's favorite treats. These are a great density and toughness for dogs that like the chew while also being sensitive on their teeth. My vet recommended softer chews due to some existing tooth fractures my dog had before I got her. These are great for my dog because they're tough enough that she doesn't gobble them in one bite while still being soft enough to not damage her teeth. She also always gets compliments at the vet that she has great teeth for a rescue. These are pretty much all I've given her in terms of dental treats for the past two years.

Whimsical shaped dog treats in fun colours and a healthy option made from vegetables. Molly (staffy) thoroughly enjoyed them and they kept her occupied for about 20mins. The shape and size did pose a choking hazard though so I would not leave dogs unattended while eating them. They are smaller than a tennis ball and hollow which makes it very easy for dogs to just scoff down. They are quite expensive and I would probably choose a different treat over these in general.

Puppy was so excited to receive his dental treats. Absolutely loved them. They lasted for a good chew. Not only was it great to watch him enjoying them but also knowing they are made of healthy ingredients and cleaning his teeth at the same time. I want only the best for my dog and can honestly say Whimzees are.

Our 11 mo old, 57# Aussidoodle adores these. She plays with them like they were real hedgehogs; jumping around, pouncing up to it, nose down, back end up. She will lie down next to one and smile the silliest grin. Of course she eventually chews on them. They last much longer than other chews.

Wow these are great

I wasn't expecting much and use a major brand of dental chews usually, but these were pretty cool. The shape makes them more of a challenge and it took my dog a lot longer to get through. I have a largish dog so that was good. I would like more in a bag though. I was given the product to try and I was genuinely impressed plus they were super cute! The shape was really challenging and also if you wanted you could stuff it for a longer lasting experience. I also like the fact they are natural.
