2nd Energy Bra for me
30 October 2024Aubrey

I am a 34DD in the high support energy and other brands. This is my second energy medium support bra, the other one I have is a white longline. I feel like my new one is more comfortable (dramatic magenta) in the band and softer throughout the rest of the bra. It fits really nice with what I would call light support. For me its perfect for pilates or yoga classes because of the material. I live in the Like a Cloud bras normally but they just get way too hot during heated classes for me. I love this color so much and I wish it was available in more items. I know we had like a big run of it last year but I missed all of it because it wasn't in my local stores.

BEST bra but inconsistent sizing!

This sports bra is one of my favs! Purchased 4 of same size/style years ago and was pleased to see the exact style is still available. However, it’s shocking how inconsistent the sizing is, between same bra style/size in different colors! White is visibly smaller than the black. You can’t trust ordering online. I had to go in store and try on different colors of SAME SIZE to find a fit. It’s just crazy. Store employees cited they’ve noticed the same issue on a wide scale and seems to depend on where they’re manufactured. Lulu- you gotta fix this issue! I will no longer shop online at your store due to the unpredictability of sizing.

Cuts into shoulders.

This is the second bra I have had in this line. The first was way too small and left painful red marks on my shoulders. This review relates to the second one, which was a size 8 and one size up from the first.Washed and then dried by stretching it over a dining chair back as it appeared too small. For reference, I am 5' 8" and weigh 128 pounds. Wore it for three hours and developed an aching sensation all around my shoulders and chest. I ended up removing it a few hours later and noticed red "trench marks" on my shoulders. It could be because I have a long torso and this style is made for women with a shorter distance between under-bust and upper shoulders. Pretty colour (pink).

Cuts into your skin, not very supportive/compressi
21 November 2024

BAD. They said size down for a better fit, but the material is scratchy and not very compliant, so it just cuts into your skin and gives you chafing rashes, even when not working out, just wearing it passively. I am a very skinny person, and don't have a lot of lose skin around this area, so I wasn't expecting this to be a problem (I normally wear very tight sports bras), however the material is just terrible for athletic wear. It also cuts in so much it looks horrible. Additionally, even though it cuts into your skin, I find the cups to not be as supportive/compressive as what I want, they almost feel too big, although that might have been a sizing issue.

Great...with only one flaw
25 October 2024

I'm a 38C and bought the Long Line and Regular cut for yoga specifically. I'm 5'4",160lbs and impressed that this bra fits even without the ability to adjust the straps. The straps stay put -- they don't slide down my shoulders and the bra doesn't ride up, even during power class. The material is very soft yet breathable. I wear it with the cups and under a tank top and the cups don't show. The sides are cut higher under the armpit for coverage and support. Decent cleavage coverage. It's a very comfortable bra and my boobs don't bounce around. Only one complaint: the neckline buckles across my chest so it doesn't lay nice and flat all the time like my other bras and tanks do. Perhaps this means this bra style is just a wee too big for me.

It’s okay

I haven’t bought a new sports bra in a few years and I forgot how annoying removable cups are. Seriously, either make these with sewn in cups or make the fabric a little thicker in front so no cups are needed. The material is weird when washing it, it attracts like all the soap scum or lint (I’m not sure what it is) but it doesn’t come out of my washer clean. Always white spots on it. I’ve noticed this with lululemon leggings too. Strap back is cute though and it is medium support as listed. W as able to order an accurate size by following their size chart.

Like it but don't love it.
26 June 2024

I wear sports bras daily (I'm a stay at home mom) and decided to buy better quality ones than I typically do, so I'm a first time order here. For reference: I am 33, 5'1" and 113 pounds. I'm naturally petite and a part of the itty bitty comittee. When I took the fit quiz, it told me I was an 8 (I probably answered questions wrong as I never wear "normal" bras). I was lucky enough to have a friend let me try on her size 4 (too small) and 8 (too big). I ordered a size 6 based on that and I am SO glad I did. This bra fits me tight but not too tight. Great for when I go on walks/jogs. Overall I like the feel of the material, it seems good quality. The pattern/color is true to photo. My con with this bra is the straps and how they're attached to the bra at the back. ... MoreI wear sports bras daily (I'm a stay at home mom) and decided to buy better quality ones than I typically do, so I'm a first time order here. My con with this bra is the straps and how they're attached to the bra at the back. Instead of stopping at the top edge of the back or going down the back of it the whole way on the outside, they are down the whole way inside of the bra. Throughout the day (especially if I'm more sweaty) these pieces of straps start to dig/rub into my skin, making it uncomfortable. Maybe this would be solved with a size 8? I'm unsure, but I like the firm fit of this so I don't think I would want to go up a size. Overall I will give this a 3.5 star out of 5.

Okay But Overpriced IMO
10 November 2024

Overpriced for what you get. I was really hoping for a comfortable bra with sewn-in padding. Seemed like a small ask from a brand that specializes in yoga / fitness wear to deliver on excellent form and structure and easy washing. It’s fitness wear—it gets sweaty and goes through a lot of washes! I was super tired of washing bras and having to readjust the padding every single time. But oh well. I guess that’s too much to ask for? I will admit the bra is comfortable once everything is where it’s supposed to be. I took the site recommendation to buy a size 10 (which sounded very large) for a 34B and I think it’s the right size for me. I might have been able to go a size lower for a tighter fit, but I’m happy enough with the fit. Just disappointed after hearing all ... MoreOverpriced for what you get. The best running bra
8 September 2024

This is my new favourite running bra. I purchased this because I was not comfortable with my Run Times bra, although the previous model was my long time favourite. Run Times was a bit tight from chest so I could not breathe and the cups were rather big, although I always buy 38C size. Energy Bra High Support is nicely tight around my chest but more evenly (not only under breast), the cups are not so big or defined. After reading the reviews I was a bit worried about putting it on but it is not difficult at all. I like that the straps are crossed on the back (more support). Waiting for my size to come in stock so I can buy another one :)

Unflattering cut, stiff material
6 December 2022

The bra is designed in such a way that it makes strangely unflattering bulges between the sides, underarms, shoulderblades and strap junctions that almost shows through my workout tops (a problem I do not have with any of my med-high support sports bras from any luxury sports company). The neckline is neither high nor low, but sits at a point that looks slightly awkward, like a youth cut. Even trying different sizes in my fit didn't solve these problems. The material itself is oddly not soft, but kind of cardboardy in texture, same with the bra pads. It left some friction marks after a workout.I am new to Lululemon but I expected better quality, or more finesse in design.
