Healthy and Convenient! Australian snap frozen Broccoli & Cauliflower, so convenient, delicious, 5 star rated and packed to the brim with goodness. It has been a staple in my freezer for several years, I use it in casseroles, stir fries, vegetable bakes and as a healthy side dish at least twice a week. Australian grown, there is no wastage, it's inexpensive to buy and comes in a good size 500 g package. I will keep buying it, and highly recommend.

Great freezer stock. Having bought this product previously it was really easy to find and recognisable from the packaging which makes it really clear what you're getting. Would love if this bag were resealable and available in 1kg form too as I go through this quantity quite quickly. Compared to other brands it is a little lesser in weight for cost than what I normally get but the quality is definitely there. You can tell these were snap frozen from fresh and in their prime. The broccoli is vibrantly green and the cauliflower unblemished. The only downside with this is that the florets tend to be vastly different sizes meaning that the smaller pieces end up way overcooked to compensate for the bigger bits. The biggest plus for me is that it's 100% Australian grown ... MoreGreat freezer stock. Green Goodness. We love our vegetables and lately with rising fresh product price increase I have switched to buying more frozen products. This product is well priced for the content. The quality is good and good even sized piece making cooking and plate appealing. I just steam cooked in the microwave and cooked perfect and it taste flavoursome not like some product that just blunt in taste - o e reason I prefer fresh but this product surprised me. Will definitely buy this more regularly. Love it.

Small florets and chunky stems. As the price of fresh broccoli and cauliflower has gotten a bit too expensive, I bought the frozen Woolworths Broccoli & Cauliflower as a cheaper alternativeFound easily in the freezer section and was grateful to see plenty of stock this week, hopefully the craziness is dying downThe packaging is bright with the green and white colours to represent the veg insideClearly displays that they are both Australian produce which is a huge plusOnly comes in a 500g bag which is disappointing would like to see a 1kg bag option The broccoli were all small florets and got a bit mushy after only a couple of mins boiling. Quite clearly off cuts but still ok for the priceThe cauliflower was disappointing and loses a star as it was mainly the stems ... MoreSmall florets and chunky stems. There was more broccoli then cauliflower in the pack Overall the taste was nice and I enjoyed them as a mix with other veggies. Not sure they could be a stand alone veg on the plate *Not a special effect the steam fogged my camera lens!!5 HSRPack says packaging for the bin but it should be RedCycleable (not sure if that's a word but sounds good)Overall I wasn't hugely impressed but enough that I would repurchase till the fresh is cheaper anyway
Convience at its best. I am not a big frozen vegetable or fruit buyer. I prefer fresh but there are times when fresh is too expensive or no longer in season and those frozen packets look awfully appealing!I used the Woolworths Broccoli and Cauliflower in two different dishes. One was in a stew added at the end and the other was steamed and added to a fresh salad. In both dishes the cauliflower tasted bland without a hint of the cabbage like taste that cauliflower naturally has. I was left disappointed as I adore my cauliflower. The broccoli tasted like broccoli and seemed to retain its crunch and shape as well. I found the packaging quite appealing and very eye catching and the price reasonable compared to buying either of the two vegetables fresh. One problem that ... MoreConvience at its best. One problem that I did have was that the pieces were just too small! I would have preferred larger chunks as I would not be able to use this packet if I wanted to created crumbed cauliflower or broccoli!
Made a perfect soup. Was feeling rather chilly with the weather lately so had the urge to whip up some soup. Cooked the entire 500gm packet in the microwave. Diced onion and 2-3 cloves of garlic - cooked with butter until transparent. Added broccoli and cauliflower mix. Added 450mls water with heaped tablespoon of my homemade vegetable stock. Heated up and then added 1-2 tablespoons of cream cheese. Whizzed up until smooth. I used my Thermomix to automate the above but you could easily do in a saucepan. Added chilli flakes and salt and pepper to taste. Great to have this veg mix in the freezer. Great just heated to accompany meat dish or to make soup. Lovely colour and still crisp. Love that it’s from Oz. Great pricing too with current cost of fresh vegetables. Have ... MoreMade a perfect soup. Too much cauli. Good price but the bag was mainly full of cauliflower with only a few pieces of broccoli. The cauliflower pieces were very small, smaller than florets, more like chopped cauliflower. The sparse broccoli was three or four huge pieces that required chopping to be used in cooking. I was expecting the quantity of broccoli and cauliflower to be roughly equal and the size of the pieces to be more similar so I didn’t have to chop anything.
Easy & convenient. Picked up a packet just before the craziness of supply chain disruptions and bare shelves of fresh food at the supermarket. It's a convenient product to have in the freezer. I like that the chunks are cut up in a nice bite sized pieces. Not too chunky. It's easy as I do not have to soak/wash the veggie before cooking. Goes well in soups, veggie bake and rice congee. Noticed the proportion of broccoli is greater than cauliflower. Doesn't matter to me as I like broccoli. At $2. 15 per half kilo, I would certainly buy it again.
Quick and Cheap. I seldom buy fresh veggies. I opted for quite sometime for frozen veggies. Saves me a lot on cutting washing and the price is cheaper. Woolworths Broccoli and Cauliflower is not new to me. I have them in my freezer including peas, corn and Asian veggies good for stir fry. With the frozen broccoli and cauliflower I can cook them in so many ways. My favourite is having them in my soup. I cook first the meat, a bit of pork, pieces of chicken drumettes and a bit of small cut of beef for 30 minutes. Once the meat is tender I put one brown sliced onion and 2 cloves of garlic for another 5 minutes season it with salt and pepper then put the one whole bag of frozen broccoli and cauliflower while the soup is still very hot and quickly switch off the flame as ... MoreQuick and Cheap. Convenient Value. A good item to have in the freezer, ready to add to dishes or serve as a side on their own. Cook up fine in the microwave. Usually a fairly even mix of broccoli and cauliflower, though the piece sizes are fairly random. Easy size pack that doesn't take up much room. Option of a 1kg pack would be handy, too. Good value (same price as just cauliflower). Australian grown veggies gets two thumbs up.
