Dog included! I always buy the smooth one though, so thank you for the chance to try the crunchy versionYou can already see the crunchy bits once you open the jar. The smell is not particularly strong. The taste is quite nice, but it takes some time to get used to the texture. I find it a little salty too. My daughter thinks the same, while my husband found it quite sweet. This product contains more sugar compared to what we generally buy (1. 8 grams per serving compared to 0. 8 grams) and more sodium too (55 mg per serving compared to 51 mg). I decided to make some peanut butter cookies with my sample (I will submit the recipe later)I’m not sure I’d buy this peanut butter again, mainly because we prefer the smooth version. I still find it a pity that it’s made in Argentina. I know most peanut butters are made from South American peanuts, but it would be nice if the peanut butter was manufactured here in Australia. Another concern of mine is that this product contains only 90% peanuts, while the one I generally buy contains 99. 3%, so I find it a lot healthier and tastier. Thank you very much for the sample!

Easy satay sauce. Woolworths Crunchy Peanut Butter is a delightful addition to any pantry, offering a perfect blend of creaminess and crunch. I recently had the opportunity to try this peanut butter, and here's my review along with a bonus recipe for a delicious satay sauce using Woolworths Crunchy Peanut Butter. Let's start with the peanut butter itself. The texture of Woolworths Crunchy Peanut Butter is exceptional. It strikes a perfect balance between creamy and crunchy, providing a delightful contrast that elevates every bite. The crunchy peanut pieces are evenly distributed throughout the jar, adding a satisfying crunch to each spoonful. The crunchy peanut pieces are evenly distributed throughout the jar, adding a satisfying crunch to each spoonful. Whether you spread it on toast, crackers, or enjoy it straight from the jar, the texture is simply fantastic. Moving on to the flavor, Woolworths Crunchy Peanut Butter does not disappoint. It boasts a rich, nutty taste with a natural sweetness that is not overpowering. The roasted peanut flavor shines through, making it a pleasure to indulge in. I appreciate that this peanut butter is made with high-quality ingredients and is free from artificial additives, preservatives, and hydrogenated oils. It's a healthier choice that doesn't compromise on taste. Now, let's dive into the bonus recipe: Satay Sauce from Peanut Butter. This versatile sauce is incredibly easy to make and showcases the delicious flavors of Woolworths Crunchy Peanut Butter. Ingredients for Satay Sauce:1/2 cup Woolworths Crunchy Peanut Butter1/4 cup sweet soy sauce1 tablespoon lime juice2 tbsp fried shallot (you can get it from Woolies)1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional only if you like spicy)1/4 cup warm water (adjust as needed) Instructions:1. In a bowl, combine the Woolworths Crunchy Peanut Butter, soy sauce, lime juice, and red pepper flakes (if desired). Stir well to combine. 2. Gradually add warm water to the mixture, a little at a time, stirring continuously, until you reach the desired consistency. The sauce should be smooth and pourable but not too thin. 3. Taste the sauce and adjust the flavors to your liking. Add more soy sauce for sweetness, lime juice for tanginess, or red pepper flakes for heat. 4. If you prefer a smoother sauce, you can use a blender or food processor to blend the ingredients together until smooth. 5. Once the satay sauce is ready, you can use it immediately or refrigerate it for later use. 6. Add the fried shallots as a garnish. Now, let's talk packaging. The jar of Woolworths Crunchy Peanut Butter is sturdy and well-sealed, ensuring the freshness and longevity of the product. The jar is easy to open and reseal, keeping the peanut butter fresh between uses. Woolworths Crunchy Peanut Butter is a high-quality product, the cost may be slightly higher compared to other peanut butter brands on the market. However, considering the taste, texture, and overall quality, it is worth the extra expense, especially when you can create delectable recipes like satay sauce using this peanut butter. In conclusion, Woolworths Crunchy Peanut Butter is a top-notch choice for any peanut butter lover. Its delightful blend of creaminess and crunch, along with its rich flavor, make it a must-have pantry staple. Whether you enjoy it on toast, use it in baking, or incorporate it into your favorite recipes, this peanut butter is sure to satisfy your taste buds

Surprisingly good. There is a peanut butter lover in the house who is very particular about the type and brand we use so we always buy the same product over and over. I was a bit skeptical when I picked up this product. I really don't want to end up being the only one trying to finish an unwanted jar of peanut butter just because I don't want to waste food. My first piece of toast was a great surprise - the peanut butter was very to spread, there was plenty of peanut granules, the taste was sweet but not overwhelming, it doesn't leave the greasy aftertaste in the mouth. I really enjoyed it and the peanut butter lover thought it tasted fine, not as good as the usual brand but not bad at all. I love how good the price is compared to my usual brand but I was not happy to find that this product is made overseas AND it contains sugar, salt and other additives. The taste is great but the ingredient list is not ideal so I deduct one star for that reason.

Just as I like it. Peanut butter is a treat in this household in that we always have a jar in the house but only tend to eat it on toast when we need a little pick me up. I like that when you spread it on fresh toast, the peanut butter starts to melt into the bread. This crunchy peanut butter didn’t disappoint. The labelling is appealing with similar colours to another particular brand name peanut butter (red for crunchy). Upon opening the jar, you are greeted with the delicious aroma of fresh peanuts. Although initially smooth in appearance, there certainly are some nice crunchy morsels within. Made in Argentina with approximately a one year best before date. Too sweet and lacks flavour compared to our regular PB. Hubby eats peanut butter most days. First comment from both of us is that the Woolworths Crunchy PB was too sweet, it has 8. 9 grams per 100grams. We both questioned why the need to add sugar to PB when we should be eating less of it. Next we thought there was less flavour but once I started to bite the peanuts I could taste the flavour more, my hubby disagreed, he thought it still lacked flavour. We then compared it to Mayvers peanut butter which is our go to brand (always purchased at half price so same price as this one). Mayvers PB is much more superior in flavour. As well, Mayvers is only peanuts with a pinch of salt. I was quite surprised, as hubby isn't a fussy eater, when he asked me how I could use up the remaining Woolworths PB as he wasn't interested in eating it. I'll be adding it to cookies, my son's banana muffins and homemade satay paste. Stars removed for: the quantity of sugar, lack of flavour, too thick, made in Argentina. Thanks for the sample, Bunch but not for us.

I have compared my choice of peanut butter alongside of the Woolworths brand just to compare. Firstly I just took a spoonful of each, as you can see the one on the left hand side is the woollies one, it is very thick and pasty. ‘Tried this by itself first, I mean who doesn’t love ❤️ peanut butter by itself, (sorry I mean a good peanut butter is better) but this one leaves an aftertaste in your mouth a long time afterwards still, and not in a pleasant way. I then spread some on celery as I do enjoy this as a little treat. ‘As far as this peanut butter goes look, it’s not for me, but if you are not fussy or picky and you have a family and love peanut butter then go for it! It will definitely do the job, before I had a choice, I used to always eat the no-name brands. You may need to zoom in a little bit just to see the difference. And finally I thought to give you a better idea, I would spread some on a flatbread for you? (Looks like a baby’s dirty nappy) SORRY ‘OKAY, this container serves 25, that is 1 Tablespoon per person. 20g This contains, 90% roasted peanuts, Sugar, Stabilisers, (471) salt. I am guessing that this is what is making the funky taste ‘This is a 4 star ⭐️ HSR! BBD 21/05/24. This is a product of Argentina. Jar & cap both recycling ♻️‘Storage instructions, store in a cool dry place. ‘Thank you Bunch for giving me this opportunity to try this product, but sorry I will be sticking to my original purchase. Thank you to all my fellow Bunchee’s for taking a look at my review.

Great Value. Loved peanut butter as a kid and many decades later I still love it and this Argentinian one certainly doesn’t disappoint! At $2. 90 for this 500g jar it is budget friendly and a great size for families. The texture of this peanut butter is very much to my liking - not oily or dry and with a good percentage of coarsely ground nuts to provide texture and crunch. It is just slightly sweet with a hint of saltiness. I used this peanut butter in a sate sauce and was really pleased with the result. I found the peanut butter stirred easily into the coconut milk base and when pored river the chicken meatballs and baked the result was absolute perfection. Great Taste & Value. During the week had an opportunity to sample this peanut butter and to my surprise the quality was just as good as the major brand I usually purchase. Upon opening it was refreshing to find it was double sealed therefore extra protection from people in stores opening jars and smelling contents before buying, which I find disgusting and inconsiderate. There was no excess oil or residual on top and the aroma was not overly strong. The texture was consistent and enough peanut for that crunchy and flavoursome spread. Thought the packaging and label were standard and large print helpful for some. For around $3 for 500g was great value and with a HSR of 4 more on the healthier side of a diet than some. Overall a great addition for baking & cooking or ... MoreGreat Taste & Value. Thought the packaging and label were standard and large print helpful for some. For around $3 for 500g was great value and with a HSR of 4 more on the healthier side of a diet than some. Overall a great addition for baking & cooking or even a light toasted snack and would definitely recommend to my fellow bunchees. Thankyou Bunchteam for giving me the opportunity of trying a product new to my taste buds‍♂️

Delicious for making Satay. Made in Argentina4 HSR $2. 40 for 500g No preservatives, artificial colours or flavours90% Roasted Peanuts. Sugar, Stabiliser (471), Salt make up the other 10% I like that this peanut butter is not oily. It is really crunchy with lots of nuts and also smooth. I enjoyed some on rice crackers and then decided to use my sample to make satay chicken drumsticks for dinner The recipe actually said smooth peanut butter but I thought what the heck crunchy will just give it more texture! Below are the drumsticks covered in the satay sauce prior to cooking ….. and after garnished with roasted peanuts They were delicious, the crunchy peanut butter worked really well. I’d prefer Australian made using Australian nuts but it’s considerably more ... MoreDelicious for making Satay.
