Budget friendly syrup. Woolworths Maple Flavoured Syrup is priced at $2. 50 for a 375g bottle. The bottle is slim lined with a flip lid for easy squeezing. This syrup is nicely flavoured, not as thick and rich as some other offerings but that works well with the squeezing element of the bottle. This product is made in Australia, from at least 78% Australian ingredients and it contains no artificial colours or flavours. The product has a Health Star rating of 1. 5. The syrup is gluten free and suitable for vegans. Both the bottle and cap are recyclable.

Good for not authentic. Much better than the Coles offering in this product. The Coles product is very harsh and sweet with sugar where this offering is subtle and still has a lot of the maple syrup taste apparent. Great on pancakes. I wouldn't buy myself going forward as I buy and prefer genuine Maple Syrup. As a comparison of the same product line though, far superior to Coles. Very good value for those who still want a maple syrup flavour and children will love it. Not the healthiest of products but okay now and then.

Nearly like being in Canada! Woolworths Maple Flavoured Syrup 375g is a delightful treat that adds a burst of rich, authentic maple flavour to any dish! This product exceeded my expectations with its smooth texture and heavenly aroma. Whether drizzled over pancakes, waffles, or desserts, it instantly elevates the taste experience. Not the flavour for us. Easy to locate in store, and the packaging and labelling is good. Handy squeeze bottle. Personally, we only use 100% pure maple syrup, never maple 'flavoured' syrup.. I don't think it compares at all to the 100% maple, and it has a very sickly sweet taste that tastes very artificial in my opinion. The kids didn't complain when they had this on their pancakes instead of the usual, but with the added preservative, we will be sticking to our usual 100% maple syrup which is also in a preferable glass bottle. Good to try but we won't be buying again.

Versatile product. I always have one of these in the pantry. Easy to find instore and reasonably priced. It is great to sweeten almost anything. Cereals, desserts, cakes, slices, you name it, Maple syrup is a great alternative and you are only limited by your imagination. Being gluten free, everyone can enjoy it as well. Great product. We often have different sorts of syrup in our pantry and find them useful for adding to a plethora of different types of dishes. This 'maple flavoured' syrup is a handy addition to our pantry 'go tos', as we can add a half not of the maple flavouring WITHOUT the added expense of buying the actual Maple syrup (which is imported from Canada). Do be aware though that the 'maple flavouring' isn't as strong as the legitimate 'maple syrup', but that too can be handy when experimenting with different flavours. One sauce that we regularly make goes like this:In a small frying pan, put a splash of mild olive oil, half a teaspoon of garlic paste, and some chopped chilli (to taste). Now add in roughly 150 to 250 mls of orange juice (freshly squeezed if you wish, but trust me; 100% bottled OJ works just as well) and keep stirring over a low heat to reduce the water content in your sauce. Taste as you go, and add more OJ or syrup as necessary to get a 'taste' that suits you, and continue to reduce the liquid until the sauce has a consistency that you like. This sauce goes rather nicely on top of pork chops, but it is exceptionally good on pan fried (or poached) fish. It is so easy to make too, and any remains nder keeps well in the fridge for later use.

Just as good as other brands! This was the first time I have tried this product as we normally buy another brand. Had pancakes for breakfast the other day and pulled it out for the family to try and compare with our usual brand. They were all pleasantly surprised - this product had a nice maple flavour and wasn't too sweet at all. They went through just over half the bottle! Cheaper than the other brand too. Would definitely buy this product again.

A good staple. My kids tried this with pancakes, oats and waffles and they enjoyed them every way. My family tried this maple flavoured syrup and found it to be nice, but it was too sweet for my liking but the rest of the family enjoyed it!I love the design of the bottle it beats the twist/turn tops like the sauce bottles have and this is less messy. This is a very good option if you want to save money and the taste is still there. Better than the brand names. I absolutely love this maple syrup! It has a nice sweet taste that isnt overwhelming and it has a really good price tag. I prefer this to the name brands, not just for its price but because it taste a lot better too. We have this on pancakes and it goes over really well, it is not a super thick consistency and doesn't have that gritty sugary taste like some do. It smell really yummy as well! I will continue to buy this.
