Great Price and Quality Love These. They are of an even and large size and thus cook up creamy and smooth with a great consistency, I have found with other cheaper brands usually they are second rate, uneven in size and quality and often have a lot of oat dust in the pack and other dark bits of I know not what. However these are a superior product of which I am a regular purchaserThis photo shows you how evenly they cook up, with great oats like these you can see them swelling up in the salted water and even at only five minutes cooking time, have already started to thicken and grow with a very even texture!!!With other cheaper brands often you will see impurities as they cook with what my darling daughter would refer to as black floaties If you take a closer look ... MoreGreat Price and Quality Love These. I bring to the boil and then let them simmer a full ten minutes stirring occasionally, for the best results!!! I use 1/3 cup of oats per serve with 225ml cold water and 3 grinds of my salt mill. I love using my cast iron pots to cook my oats as you can turn them down very low but they still cook perfectly in the 10 minutes once bought down to the simmer. So there you have it 10 minutes gone and well spent making 3 bowls of delicious porridge and knowing in the morning I will have a nutritious and enjoyable breakfast!!! I tend to make 3 serves at a time and refrigerate in the bowls and heat next morning in the microwave for approximately 2 minutes Great Australian Product!!!! I buy these often as amazing in taste and quality at a fantastic price!!!I have found in the past by trying cheaper oats that often the quality is not there and just do not cook up the same!!Ty all for your great support and comments, truly appreciated, hugs always your friend Chef ‍ Penny ‍‍‍‍‍‍xxxoooxxx

Excellent value! These oats are delicious. They cook up really well in porridge, I've used them in a crumble, overnight oats, all sorts recipes. They are really good value for money and nice tasting. I buy these all of the time.

Creamy and filling. The best way to spend $1. 40. Filling, creamy and consistent in texture. Great source of fibre. Needs to be rebagged to prevent waste. Would never buy branded oats again.

Changed Product. I have been buying these oats for years and before I opened this last packet would have given them 5 's. I make my own muesli so they are eaten raw. They are so hard, eating them raw is quite unpleasant. Even letting them soak in milk made no difference. I will give them a go as porridge and in cooking to see if this improves the texture. I am wondering if there has been a change in manufacturing???

As time goes by. I had a likeing for someb porridge like i used to have when i was a kid, Mrs H bought the rolled oats, upon cooking in microwave first lot were coarse not like i remember smooth, next lot i asked her to cook longer but they were still course in texture, not sure if same as i remember was a while ago. So im not sure i got the same porridge as i remembered but im sure it was smooth and creamy. If anyone can enlighten me it would be appreciated. With the woolie brand skim milk and honey i was really looking forward to my porridge but was a little disapointed

The best rolled oats. With a five star health rating, and a 100% Australian product, these are absolutely the best rolled oats I’ve ever tried. This size pack suits me, and is good value for money, but there is a larger size of the same product, giving better value for money if you have the space in your pantry. The packet is attractive, with the picture of a paddock with a tractor and trailer proudly displaying the words “GROWN ON AUSTRALIAN FARMS “. I use these almost every day for breakfast, and occasionally in crumble topping, both sweet and savoury, and even more occasionally in Anzac biscuits, whenever I bake them. There is rarely even one piece of chaff in the pack. A great product.

Winter Warming Porridge. These 100% Australian oats, at $1. 40 for 750g, No Artificial Colours, Flavours or Preservatives with an HSR of 5 make a warming porridge. On the pack there are clear cooking instructions for stove top or microwave. I also use these oats for Bircher Muesli and they are a terrific addition to cookies.

Perfect! Soak overnight. ⭐️⭐️These oats are my breakfast staple. ⭐️⭐️I soak them in skim milk, a tablespoon of Greek yoghurt and tablespoon of chia seeds. It’s thick and the oats swell nicely overnight. Add more milk in the morning if needed. Top with fruit - strawberries/ blueberries/ banana ✅✅✅I also use these for making Anzac biscuits. ✅The are great price. ✅Product if Australia

Australian oats at a great price! I was given these as a gift from a friend, and was very surprised at how good they are! Not quick oats, so they do take a bit longer in the microwave to make porridge. Made in Australia and the bag can be returned to the store for redcycle. Bright orange bag is easy to find, and $1. 40 for 750gms is a great price. I would love to see a resealable bag rather than me using a peg to keep them fresh. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants Australian oats at a great price.

Plain on it's own needs added ingredients. I bought these to have for breakfast adding full cream milk & golden syrup to it once heated in the microwave for a minute it tastes ok but a bit plain, hardly any flavour to it without the golden syrup but still needs something else added to it, there are instructions on back of product how to cook it, it's priced at $1. 40 for a 750g (estimate) packet-this is cheap, 100% whole grain, the oats are big in size & there is oat powder down the bottom of packet-not much, the packet is see-through at the back so you can see what your getting.
