Great low fat cream cheese. I love this 'light' spreadable cream cheese. I always have a tub in the fridge as it is so versatile. I use it in cooking for things like baked cheesecakes or my Jaffa Marble Cake (find it in Recipes) but also love it on rice cakes topped with cinnamon and apple slices or my husband does salmon, capers and dill. I also love it spread on bagels and topped with turkey, cranberry and sprouts for lunch or just with jam for a breaky treat. Last night I didn't have any thick cream so I substituted this on my choc hazelnut crepes with strawberries. This worked really well and tasted great so now I have another use for it. Great value compared to regular block cream cheese and it's texture lends it to so many more uses. Also love the resealable ... MoreGreat low fat cream cheese. A favourite of mine and a staple in my house.

This is a consistent staple in my household! I love Woolworths spreadable light cream cheese and purchase this often, it was very nice to receive this as a bunch sample! Generally, I use this in spread on bagels with smoked salmon, red onion and capers, or use it for a baked cheesecake - however this time around, I decided to mix this up with some lemon juice, garlic, chopped jalapeños and stuffed some chicken breast for dinner. It worked a treat and the family really enjoys it. I definitely do not mind purchasing the light version as opposed to full fat, as it is still rich and creamy enough for me. Would definitely purchase again as this is one of the many Woolworths branded items that I really enjoy. Thanks Bunch!

Spreadable Cream Cheese. There was a spreadable soft creamy texture once I opened the lid and foil lined seal on this WW 250g tub of Spreadable Light Cream Cheese. The flavour is very mild and slightly tangy made with the Australian milk, cream and buttermilk powder. Being spreadable straight from the tub is convenient when making dips or spreading on vegetables like celery or sliced cucumbers. Delicious on crackers with smoked salmon and fresh dill. I also substituted sour cream and added the cream cheese to my pumpkin soup. I did try this product in a cream cheese frosting recipe and even though all the flavours were there and it was delicious the texture was not firm enough. Made in Australia from at least 97% Australian ingredients so the price of $3. 10 ($12. ... MoreSpreadable Cream Cheese. I would certainly buy this product again. With 25% less fat and no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Thank you for the opportunity to review this product.
Much cheaper than the brand product. Very easy to find in the fridge section at woollies with all the other cream cheeses. I found this cream cheese to be a little bit darker in colour to the Philadelphia that I would normally buy, and a little bit gummy in texture. Having said that my daughter absolutely loved this on toast with a blackberry conserve on top, and I used it in my baked breakfast oat cups. suitable for vegetarians, and with no artificial colours flavours or preservatives, and retailing for $3. 10. Made in Australia from at least 97% Australian ingredients. Spreadable cream cheese isn’t something I often use, but my daughter would definitely buy this again. Thanks bunch for giving us an alternative product to choose from
Winner winner! I was lucky enough to snag this limited release product and I enjoyed the taste of it. I occasionally buy the more expensive full fat brand but now after trying this cheaper lighter product, I am wondering why I have been purchasing the other. I thought the taste was great, full bodied and creamy but not overwhelmingly “fatty”. I tried it on toast for breakfast but have yet to try it on anything else. Using it as part of “stuffing” seems a likely choice!I like the handy recyclable container, a great shape to stack in a full fridge at this time of year. I like the amount of Australian ingredients in the product; that characteristic is important to me. Good idea Woolies?
Horrible texture, wrong flavour. Not sure what products other reviewers are used to if they're giving this 5 stars, it is the worst cream cheese I've tried by far. Has a very weird gritty/floury texture. Nothing smooth or creamy about it like is usual with cream cheese. The flavour was not nice, left a strang bitter taste in my mouth and a horrible after taste. To the point that I even checked if it was out of date and bought a new one to compare (both were the same so definitely just this product). Tried it multiple ways - smeared on a bagel with other topics, added to a creamy pasta sauce I usually make with cream cheese. Even to make fat bomb snacks. Every single item ended up tasting horrible and got binned. Will definitely not buy again, stick with the name ... MoreHorrible texture, wrong flavour. A little Sweet. I was a little stumped what to do with this when I got it as I never buy it. I decided to make a dip with some of it for the two family members who can eat dairy. Unfortunately it wasnt liked. I’m putting that down to the recipe I used and not the cream cheese. I saw on here that someone had made mars bar balls with cream cheese. So I gave it a go. Unfortunately I found the cream cheese too soft and after 2 hours in the freezer it was still unbelievably too soft. It took a long time to be able to make a ball. My dessert loving child actually said it was too sweet. Hubby ate them without complaint but hasn’t polished off the last few. In a last ditch effort I put the left over mix on some milk arrowroot biscuits. Once again they thought it was still a ... MoreA little Sweet. I did enjoy the challenge of trying to create something new.
Creamy, Versatile, Great Value. I always keep a tub of cream cheese in the fridge. The cream cheese was easy to find in the dairy aisle with other similar products. I like that you can add other ingredients such as honey or a sprinkle of cinnamon and they compliment each other really well. I also used the cream cheese to stuff celery sticks for an afternoon tea, as this is one of our grandchildrens' favourites. They like to add flaked almonds on top as well.
