This is my husband‘s Yeti his job gave him. We’ve had it now a few years and it’s awesome! It keeps drinks cold literally all day long. We live in Florida so of course it’s very hot, and the building for the rocket, where he works, is EXTREMELY hot. He works 12+ hour shifts a lot, and his water stays cold the entire time! We haven’t tried anything hot in it yet, but for cold, it does the job! It’s easy to clean, dishwasher safe and a very pretty color. I keep telling him to tell his job I need one! It’s definitely a high-quality product and has made us interested in purchasing Yeti products in the future! it’s also very rugged. My husband has dropped it a few times and it holds up nicely!

Absolutely love this bottle! I have the 26oz and 36oz version. They are so sturdy and well built, insulated and leak proof. The 26oz is my go to gym bottle. Perfect size to toss in a gym bag. While the 36oz is my work/everyday bottle. Cleaning is incredibly easy unlike bottles with straws. The threads on the lid are external making it extremely easy to get into all of the places typically hard to clean on traditional water bottles. This has replaced all of my other water bottles and is here to stay. I am officially done jumping on the newest water bottle trend. They will not live up to this one.

I love my Rambler 18 oz it keeps my ice coffee perfect all day, however, I've stopped using the optional plastic straw my husband purchased from Yeti. I have found that once the contents are gone if I have let it set a while and forgot to close the black sipping portion of the lid any residual drink that may be left in the straw will spit out. I've three times been showered with coffee when I went to retrieve the Rambler. I'm guessing it's due to a pressure change in the canister. I would still recommend the 18 oz, just not with the straw. I use it everywhere. It can fit inside of my small backpack and I also have a clip which attaches to my back pack and the water bottle. I love the convenience of it being small, and not as heavy as my larger yeti water bottle. ... MoreI love my Rambler 18 oz it keeps my ice coffee perfect all day, however, I've stopped using the optional plastic straw my husband purchased from Yeti. I recently purchased a YETI water bottle with high expectations, given its reputation for durability and performance. Unfortunately, it has not lived up to its promises in terms of keeping drinks cold. I will fill it with ice and water and within two hours, the ice melts and the water is not cold. I expected better temperature retention from a brand known for its premium insulation. While the build quality is robust and the design is sleek, the lack of effective cooling performance is a significant drawback. For those prioritizing ice-cold beverages, this bottle might not be the best choice. There is a portion of glass on the neck and maybe that’s why it doesn’t live up to the quality of my other Yeti products.
Overall great bottle, but cap seems to be designed to break. The two part cap Is made out of one translucent Lexan type material, which is extremely sturdy, hard, and with a high measure of toughness (that’s an actual material science term). The second part of the cap Is made out of a much softer kind of black polymer with a large handle, but a very small thread. With time, the black part of the cap Seems to undergo what’s called creep deformation, which is the result of prolonged stress over a long period of time. In this case, it’s about 2 to 4 months. As you screw the cap on, it will slowly screw down further and further, until you eventually strip the threads all together. When you couple that with a very large handle, in comparison to the size of the thread, ... MoreOverall great bottle, but cap seems to be designed to break. The two part cap Is made out of one translucent Lexan type material, which is extremely sturdy, hard, and with a high measure of toughness (that’s an actual material science term). As you screw the cap on, it will slowly screw down further and further, until you eventually strip the threads all together. When you couple that with a very large handle, in comparison to the size of the thread, the amount of torque that you apply to the cap Is far greater than the thread can take. This is not caused by misalignment or user error, this is what’s called planned obsolescence. The cap is designed to eventually fail, so you would buy another one and another one every few months. I hope yeti decides to actually change the design, bottle caps are really not new technology, we know how to make them last a very long time.By the way, if you store soda or hot coffee or tea, deformation will be accelerated.Yeti, it’s time to send everyone a new redesigned cap for free. That would be the decent thing to do.
I bought this Yeti for my husband because he is a courier driver in Osoyoos, BC. One of the hottest places in Canada in the summer. It is not uncommon to see weeks close to +40C or more. Being a driver he is in and out of the hot truck all day and the AC is pointless. He has measured the heat in the cab of the truck to be +45C and higher. Every other thermos for water we have bought has resulted in the ice melting quickly and he has to drink warm or hot water for the majority of the day. Not with the Yeti!! He put ice in the Yeti in the morning and kept it in the cab of the truck with him while he worked and enjoyed cold, ice water all day! At the end of the day we opened the Yeti to find the ice he put in in the morning still there! We then left the Yeti open on ... MoreI bought this Yeti for my husband because he is a courier driver in Osoyoos, BC. One of the hottest places in Canada in the summer. We then left the Yeti open on the counter overnight thinking the ice would melt with the lid off, but there was still some left the next morning, even though the lid had been off!Yes, they are expensive which is why I haven't bought one up to now, but if you need a product that will perform as it promises, get a Yeti!
Love this bottle. I was a little skeptical about the stone finish, it’s a light grain but stickers can definitely be used and they stay on! I really needed motivation to drink water 😅 I’ve had a bunch of bottles from tjmaxx and end up just tossing them but this bottle has been great. I will say, I have a yeti mug thats mostly for hot beverages but it would hold ice for at least 24 hours, this bottle does not- my ice is gone within a few hours. But I will say my water stays real COLD. The straw cap and chug cap have both been great. No leaks at all. I also dropped it once and no dent. Will upgrade to a bigger size soon! But for a starter bottle that isnt too heavy this is a great option
I wanted to see what all the fuss was about so decided to invest in a YETI Rambler..I will say, I love the chug cap and it's very nice to drink from, however after only a week the cap was completely jammed and stuck and I was unable to take it off. I ended up having to use a zip tie and hammer to resolve this. I found this hack by googling it and it turns out it is a common issue with this bottle which is very frustrating. I also I find this bottle incredibly heavy! The weight has surprised me with it being heavily advertised for the outdoor/camping/hiking lifestyle. Previously I have been a ride or die Hydroflask drink bottle lover and have had multiple of these over the years that I still have and cannot fault. They have no dents or scratches, much lighter in ... MoreI wanted to see what all the fuss was about so decided to invest in a YETI Rambler..I will say, I love the chug cap and it's very nice to drink from, however after only a week the cap was completely jammed and stuck and I was unable to take it off. Previously I have been a ride or die Hydroflask drink bottle lover and have had multiple of these over the years that I still have and cannot fault. They have no dents or scratches, much lighter in weight and keep ice for much longer than the YETI which is surprising. I have also found it to mark quite easily in comparison to other brands .. many have claimed these are indestructible so that's also been misleading. I'm glad I purchased to get it off chest but definitely would not repurchase in future
The chug cap was apparently designed only for carrying upright, and the numerous reviews must have only tested it that way. Because if you drive anywhere and lay it down, you need to tighten the cap quite a bit to not leak. On the second use, I couldn't unscrew the narrow-spout base... Even channel locks couldn't provide enough grip and leverage to bust it loose, and my vice doesn't open quite wide enough. I eventually got it off with my biggest pipe wrench, which of course marred the rubber a fair bit. The chug cap itself unscrews easily by its handle, but the base needs a heavily serrated perimeter (like a classic Nalgene bottle) or hex/octagon shape to have something to grip onto. The base gets tightened by tightening the cap, so it's all-or-nothing. The base gets tightened by tightening the cap, so it's all-or-nothing. It's a very shortsighted design for such a premium priced product. Functionally, the 36 oz Yeti doesn't insulate nearly as well as my smaller Hydroflask, but it's much better than a non-insulated Nalgene. Trying to contact Yeti about the issue is equally frustrating, as all their contact options lead to dead ends and even the Chat With Us link doesn't go anywhere or open anything. They utilize the contact page as a shameful means of selling more product.
solid build. sadly dropped it within the first week on a hard hospital floor from my backpack pocket. not a single mark or dent. concrete might be worse, but I'm pretty confident it would still hold up well. beautiful color. but most of all i bought it over other brands not for the yeti name but for the chug cap. best cap ever.easy to clean and add ice. super comfortable to drink out of. leak proof. can open one handed without needing more than a full rotation but it stays shut well. the handle is rugged and accepts carabineers. awesome.i did have an issue getting the lid open one time, but s few minutes in the freezer without the top cap made it easy to remove. now i just don't over tighten it and it's great.
