I put my new Yeti 250 through its first test.... A week of camping with 90 degree temperatures. This product was very impressive as it held ice an entire week of being exposed to sunlight and warm temperatures. I have used other cooler brands in the past, and have experienced similar temperatures. I was always running to town for more ice. This cooler will more than pay for itself by saving me time and money spent running for more ice. Very impressed. Thank you Yeti!

We purchased thus beast of a cooler as we are avid fisherman and spend our weekends offshore fishing at hone as well as a month or two in the Florida Keys every summer. We needed a large cooler to store our speared grouper in to keep them fresh until we could filet them and this cooler is perfect. We can go days without replacing or adding ice blocks. It is huge and holds larger fish like tuna, mahi and large grouper and I mean a lot if them. Can’t wait to purchase the 350 size.

Packed with 200+ pounds of Elk meat harvested in mid September. Began the 2600km drive in 27C temperatures for 2 days. Ended up in a highway closure and didn't get home until the third day. Neither the meat, nor the bags of added ice melted at all. It was as if we just took it out of the freezer.
Have waited to add this to our collection of Yeti coolers. We smoke meat and this cooler is great to use when keeping the meat cold until we use it, then putting back in wrapped after smoking it, to keep it hot. The Yeti 250 is of highest quality, durable, can use for both keeping cold and for letting the smoked meat "relax" before eating. The perfect companion for a great gathering of family and friends for off and fellowship. Just make sure you have a couple of friends to help move this when it is full. Pairs well with the Tank for drinks, the 65 for cold side dishes, and of course your Lowball Rambler and up!
As a professional hunting guide this is one of the most important piece of gear we have. It is large enough to fit most of a quartered and hocked elk. The most important thing... It will keep meat cool for more than a few days. Possibly more depending on weather. This leaves you with more of your valuable time on the mountain instead of running to town for more ice or taking the meat to a locker. The only downside is it can take an army of guides and clients to move a full cooler but that only means you've accomplished your mission!

I've owned my 250 for over a year now have found this voluminous beast to be an extremely useful tool. It fits perfectly across the back of the bed of my truck. It will hold a shocking amount of game headed to the processor and keep it safe and cold until I can deliver it there. Recently, it served as an emergency refrigerator when ours died suddenly on a Friday and we couldn't get a new one delivered until the following Wednesday. I also like to use it to haul gear in the bed of the truck on road trips to keep things safe and dry. You can pad lock it shut and lock it to the truck to keep things secure. We've even bathed the dog in it (make sure to secure the lit open)! One thing that really surprised me was how easy it is to keep this thing clean. I bought this cooler about 4-5 years ago for the boat and my work trucks I’ve had over the years. Our 250 has been what I’ve used most. We have a 65,105 and 250 we have the 105 on the boat now.This 250 has held up amazingly and I have no complaints. If I had to buy it again I would in a heartbeat.
