YSL Make Me Blush Liquid

I adore this blush, but I recognize what works for me doesn’t necessarily work for others—see Golloria’s review on Instagram. I think it’s bizarre and ridiculous that when products come out nowadays, they are not inclusive and don’t have a decent shade range, so please take this review with a grain of salt. It’s not universal. On me, it’s easy to build up which I really appreciate. It’s pigmented, but blends in so easily into the skin and looks so natural—it doesn’t look like it sits on top of it but looks like a genuine flush. The matte capsule packaging with the shiny cap is an interesting choice, but I think if the cap were matte, it’d be harder to clean, so even that seems like a thoughtful detail. It’s pigmented, but blends in so easily into the skin and looks so natural—it doesn’t look like it sits on top of it but looks like a genuine flush. The matte capsule packaging with the shiny cap is an interesting choice, but I think if the cap were matte, it’d be harder to clean, so even that seems like a thoughtful detail. I really like the shade that I picked, since it has a slight coral tone. There are lots of other liquid blushes out there at a fraction of the price, but if you’re into luxury makeup brands and you prefer a liquid blush, this one is a solid choice only under the assumption that there’s something in the collection for your preferred shade.

I think this is probably the best liquid blush formula I have ever used. The only thing that could make it more perfect (for me) is releasing shades with shimmer. This blush melts into the skin and blends out in an instant. It’s super forgiving, and good for beginners and more advanced makeup lovers. It is pigmented, but not too pigmented (sometimes ultra pigmented blushes can be hard to work with). This has a perfect balance of pigment and translucency, so you can build for a sheer or more intense look. It is extremely easy to work with and feels lightweight on the skin. I got compliments on this the very first day I wore it, and I don’t usually wear pink blush so they really got this shade right for the olive toned girls. It will definitely show up on deep skinned people, so that’s a necessity! Excuse the awkward photos, I included a picture of it on my skin (I have a medium-dark skin tone with olive undertones). I only have the blush on my cheeks (as well as a bit of powder and setting spray) in order to keep the integrity of the color. It is definitely more vibrant in real life, and more beautiful too. There aren’t filters on the photos. Again, the only thing I can think of regarding improving would be releasing some shimmer shades. I need a shimmery peachy pink on this formula! Overall, a top blush for me now.

Cream blush can give you a glowy, dewy flush that traditional powder blush can't.Liquid blush is similar. It's also ideal for people with dry or mature skin. I always prep my face with skincare & then foundation. I find using foundation with cream blush/liquid works before is better as it is like a canvas for the blush. I received make me blush #44 nude liquid blush(more of an orange peach shade on me), used the wand & taped onto my hand & Warmed the blush than with my index finger, then tap it onto your cheeks. Use light tapping motions to blend it in, starting at the apples of your cheeks and working back started with a light layer,bits easier to add more than to take away using the liquid or cream blush. I was sent this product complimentary from influenster for my honest review. I really love this formula, it is a liquid formula but once blended turned into almost a satin like powder formula it’s not dewy at all. Which is nice because I don’t always want a dewy look. It’s not as drying as a matte finish though. It is very very lightweight yet pigmented at the same time I have medium golden skin tone and the shade nude was perfect it wasn’t ashy or grey like some light pink blushes can look on me. I just put one dot on each cheek and it is perfect. As for a longevity, I am very surprised about how long this actually last on my skin as with more Dewey blushes they tend to last only a few hours before having to reapply, but I think because of the formula of this, and that it turns kind of into a satin powder on the skin it actually last for hours I put it on this morning and it is evening time now and I still can see it on my skin going strong.

I was so pleasantly surprised by how much I love this blush. I tend to have somewhat oily skin, so I've only tried a few cream products. What surprised me is how natural this can look - it's very pigmented when you first apply but you can sheer it out to such a subtle finish or build it up by layering. The longevity is only ok, I'd say about 3-4 hours if you don't set it with powder.I have pale, olive tone skin, and the 37 is a great natural pink. I applied it by putting some on the back of my hand and using a flat sponge (from a cushion foundation) to tap it onto my cheeks. It took a little time to get an even, sheer wash, but it's worth it. The only thing is that if you’re any darker than me, it may not show up well on you. The doe foot dispenses a good amount of product but I often dip twice per cheek since I love a heavy blush look. This blush is very pigmented, far more than I anticipated from a luxury brand. This is a preference matter, however, and the performance of the product for me was faultless. I definitely recommend this product if you find a tone you enjoy!
