I was able to snag this from Target for just slightly above $100 as it's usually around $150. In a Filipino household, I really needed to invest in a somewhat nicer rice cooker than the one I was using before that consistently got soggy rice after keeping warm for more than 24 hours. It definitely takes longer to cook 3 cups or rice but it's well worth the wait and keeps the rice warm and edible for at least four days (which is way more than we need before it gets finished haha.

This is such a good rice cooker. I love how easy it is to use and the cute little song it plays when the rice is ready. You can also make many other food items in this cooker like cake. Did you know you don't need the handy measurements to see how much water? All you need to do is put your finger on the rice and the water should touch the line of your first knuckle. You're welcome. Lol

Amazed! Definitely upgraded from my old ZoriI made sticky rice and jazmine rice perfect every time. Decided to by direct from company instead of Amazon. I wanted to be sure I got the real deal and not a defective refurbished one for the money I spent. My old one lasted over ten years and survived 4 moves. So stuck with the same brand.

This rice cooker is excellent. I haven't tried all the options yet. So far it has made well cooked and not mushy basmati, short grain, brown and sweet rice. The approximated finished times have not been too far off. The pot and lid are easy to clean.
I honestly was looking at smaller-cup rice cookers since I live alone. But then I saw this and all the options, for such a great price...that I figured, hey if it can make soups and porridge too, why not? That's the allure of instapots, right? This is a life changer. Just making regular rice is great, but being able to make lots of servings of soup in this is just <33333 It's a high quality product (you can just tell when you unpack it that it's not made of cheap parts). Well worth the cost.
Perfect rice every time. I recently purchased the Umami model and have used it a couple of times. Easy to use . I love it! It was a replacement for my older 20+ years Zojirushi rice cooker.
Never spent this much on rice a cooker, that being said, after tasting the rice and seeing how consistent all the rice is I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Does take twice the time than a regular cooker, but well worth the wait. Makes my meal prep much easier and also tastier than using my stovetop and having to monitor that. Set and forget with this and it keeps warm for a long time. Have yet to try the Umami setting. Cooks amazing brown rice, white rice, basmati, jasmine & even oatmeal. Try to wait for a sale if possible for better value.

I’ve had a Zojirushi rice cooker in my kitchen since she was a child and thought, now that she has a family of her own, it would be the perfect gift. Unfortunately it’s not the quality they use to be. Every pot of rice cooked so far has been brown on the bottom. I’ve never experienced that with mine. I suggested that she reach out to customer support to see if anyone else had this issue or to see what could be done. She received a reply telling her she isn’t washing rice correctly. Interesting since we have never had this issue with my Zojirushi. When she did replied that she did, in fact, rinse her rice multiple times, they did not respond. Quality! We have made so much rice in this machine over the last nearly 2 years. Also great for porridge and steaming vegetables. Have a big family and this has worked flawlessly.
awesome rise cooker I've ever used. I really enjoy the rise smell when it is working. But I just have one concern about the coating inside that may cause some disease such as gene mutation or cancer. Why to use stainless steel material for the inner tank? If so the cooker will be perfect!
