Excellent product. We just got it for a new FTTP connection. You do not need a modem for FTTP, this router plugs straight into the wall. We’re getting outrageous speeds.

I bought this to replace an older TPLink router which didn't quite do the job. This has great throughput speeds, and the wifi goes farther in our office building. It also has a very user-friendly interface which gives me information about not just wireless connections, but wired ones. It helped me find a broken link in the system 5 minutes after I installed it.

I got this router so I can link my pico 4 vr headset & PC on the same wifi 6 network to play games on steam vr.Thus router does that & instantly boosted my sitting room wifi from 80mbps to 300mbps on a 5ghz network. It's a good mid range router ideal for gaming. Set up is easy as you can imagine via the tether app. Scan the qr code & your away. Power down your main router then connect through ethernet cable preferably cat6 or above & what your wifi speeds & deadzones change drastically. Not the best by far but for the price & my indoor needs it is absolutely fine. I wish there were more security features & I don't like you have to pay for wifi protection. I'm happy with my purchase & will upgrade when I feel necessary.

Awesome upgrade to the proprietary unit supplied from my ISP, a little extra setup required, but once going the app and online function work seamlessly. All devices connected without fail and the range in a 3 bedroom home is great.
Pros: 4 Ethernet portsCons: Tp-support poor. Marketing over hyped. Fewer options to configure than older models. Homeshield does not seem to do anything. Response from tp-support is links to marketing.

Delivers as per manufacturers promise. Stable Wi-Fi. Reliable thus far. Easy setup. Comprehensive user guide. GUI easy navigation with helps. All the features expected from a decent router. Only con is that all Wi-Fi has to be on to utilise guest option so a security flaw there as far as I'm concerned. Others may not mind that but I specifically bought it for access to Wi-Fi cams and nothing else so I'd have preferred to be able to disable other network Wi-Fi.
