Really helps with the dryness of my eyes. I have always loved Acuvue products. Nothing else fits and feels quite like Acuvue. In the last couple of years, I've had severe dry eyes, and mouth; (eye Dr. suspects Sjogren's Syndrome, still need to be tested to make sure.) I needed to try a new kind of contacts to see if anything would help. I was on Acuvue Oasys before, and that wasn't helping the dryness enough. Acuvue Moist was a game changer. My eyes feel much better. They're not perfect yet, as I need to address the problem, but these contacts help tremendously! So glad I tried them. Only issue is that they go so fast! But I am a dog groomer, and need to wear dailies, as it would be unsanitary to wear weeklies/monthlies, etc.

As a recent convert to contact lenses I have very little experience with the various types of lenses available on the market. However, a well known high street opticians convinced me to try reusable lenses - what a faff that was. My wife has used 1 day lenses for ever, so I decided to try them for myself. These Acuvue moist multifocal lenses work really well for me, easy to apply, comfortable to wear all day although they do tend to get a little 'sticky' late at night & easy to remove. Start the next day with a clean, sterile set of lenses.I recently did a 5 day motorcyle trip with these lenses and they were absolutely brilliant, sometimes forgetting I was even wearing them.

These lenses are so easy to get out! Other brand lenses I’d been using were so difficult to get out. Used to dread end of the day when I knew I’d be gauging them out, bruising each eyeball again. Not any more with Acuvue Moist they just pop out - these lenses have changed my life! Thank you!Very comfortable worn all day long. They are described as being slightly tinted. The tint is very faint, not noticeable when in, but in fact helps to see them on your finger when taking out of packet and putting in.Someone mentioned the packet was hard to open. Yes, other brands snap apart easily. But Acuvue Moust are best leaving the packets joined together and just peeling the foil lid off one at a time as you go.

These lenses were more moist and comfortable after soaking them overnight before wearing in Bausch & Lomb Bio true solution. For some reason the solution that the contacts originally come in do not keep them moist or comfortable throughout the day. Also for some reason I keep having issues with the lenses in my left eye dragging up when I blink and getting stuck in my upper eyelid. I have a few of my old contacts left that I wore previously and I did a comparison between the two. The contacts I wore before were the Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily disposable and I don't have any issues with these dragging up or getting stuck in my upper eyelid and my vision is sharper and clearer than the Acuvue moist 1 day. To be fair I did notice that I also have to soak the Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily in Bio true solution overnight as well before I wear them for them to stay moist and comfortable all day long which kind of defeats the purpose of purchasing daily disposable contacts in the first place but unfortunately it seems whichever contacts I try these days they are much more comfortable to wear after being presoaked in the Bio true solution before wearing. I am very happy with the overall performance and comfort of the Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily disposable and they are also less expensive as well compared to the Acuvue moist 1 day. The Bausch and Lomb contacts seem a bit thicker than the Acuvue which could be why the Acuvue moist 1 day drag up and get up into the upper eyelid. I am not a fan of thick contacts lenses and do prefer my lenses thin but the Acuvue seems to be too thin or not properly curved from the factory which seems to be causing the dragging and getting stuck in my upper eyelid. The Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily is the perfect balance of thinness for me and both lenses feel perfectly curved so I don't get the dragging up into the upper eyelid with the Bausch & Lomb SofLens. This does not happen in my right eye so I'm wondering if the Acuvue moist 1 day contacts RX for my left eye is defective and the right ones aren't? Not sure why I only get the dragging of the lens in my left eye. The Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily do not drag at all in either eye. Also the base curve on the Bausch & Lomb is 8.6 mm with a diameter of 14.2 mm compared to the Acuvue moist 1 day which has a base curve of 8.5 mm with a same diameter of 14.2 mm. Not sure if that would make a difference? Or I wonder if it may be because the Acuvue moist 1 day lens material is very thin compared to the Bausch & Lomb lens material. Or maybe there is something wrong with my left eyelid? My eye dr. did a thorough exam and didn't mention any issues with my left inner eyelid. So I have no answers as to why the Acuvue moist 1 day lenses drag up and get stuck in my inner eyelid every time I wear them or why my vision is sharper and clearer with the Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily. All I truly know is that in my book the Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily disposables are the clear winners for me! I'm noticing with pretty much all new contacts these days that the original solution they come in is not as comfortable and moist as when soaking them in the Bio true solution first before wearing. Not sure if contact companies are starting to use cheaper solution to ship them in or not but after I soak my new future pair overnight in the Bio true they are noticeably more moist and comfortable to wear throughout the day. So my final comparison was yes on the Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily so after I use up the Acuvue moist 1 day I will not be reordering these. My number 1 pick from now on will the be Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily disposables unless I can hopefully find a monthly wear of the Bausch & Lomb SofLens instead of the daily since I prefer to soak them in my Bio true solution before first wearing anyways. I've been struggling to find a good pair of contacts for awhile now and I'm so glad that I finally found my go to pair. When I first got the Bausch & Lomb SofLens I thought they were a bit dry which is why I switched to the Acuvue moist 1 day but then I noticed it was not the contacts its the solution the contact companies are shipping the new contacts in. So when I soaked my Bausch and Lomb SofLens daily disposables in the Bio True solution it remedied the dryness. I hope this helps someone who is having the same issues.

I found Acuvue the most comfortable, the most least fussy when handling to longest lasting often from 0800 hrs to 24 00 and later and occasionally I have taken the lens out at night put in back in the container and fold back the foil cover to wear it next day.I always leave out that days container until I open the next one. If I forget to take it out i find is somewhat opache and unuseable.I also kike contact lenses as I need to wear safety glasses for some jobs such as grinding etc, and all day in some locations and I find that I can wear a variety of eye protection as opposed to safety glassed or double up with goggles.Ted Stowellaged 76 and still working Full time building new and renovating old (up to 1880 old) water turbines and fitting generators etc.I also love the packaging. Perfectly designed and manufactured and always arrives with no dampness or damageI am writing this review at midnight having had the lens in since 0800 this morning.

Is the only brand of contacts that I can wear my eye I have extremely dry eye and these are super comfortable. They glide onto the eyeball very smoothly. Your eye can breathe. They are durable. You can take them in and out as you need to. They fit perfectly even if you have your regular shaped eyes which my 15-year-old daughter does you can still wear these and I can see really really well, definitely a great product. I would definitely consider it if you have a lot of eye problems and you can’t get contacts to work for you. These will work.

BEWARE! They changed SOMETHING with these, and they’re awful now. They’re not admitting they changed anything, in fact they’re insisting they haven’t changed anything but the packaging, but do some searches and you’ll find I’m not the only one. I’ve worn these lenses for YEARS - since about 2008 or so(?), I wore standard Acuvue 2 before that. I’m not new to contact lenses. I ordered a new box about 2 months ago, and all of the sudden I can’t wear them more than 2 hours without serious irritation bordering on pain. I thought maybe I had a dud (odd that it would be a PAIR of duds, but ok. So I grabbed a new pair from the 2nd boxes for each eye. Still awful. Wondered if my eyes changed somehow (again, unlikely to happen literally overnight) so I used a couple pairs of daily lenses I had. No problem. This was so bad I just threw away the brand new boxes and asked my doc to switch me to dailies.

AcaVue for the win!

I've been using these since I was in college. I'm allergic to silicon, so these ones don't cause irritation, puffy pink eyes and aren't so thick you feel them constantly for which I am extremely grateful. They're daily wears which allows you to have a feeling of relief each time you put them in and their thickness is so thin that I have forgotten I've had them in quite a few times until I realize that I can see. If you're looking for quality, comfortable and affordable lenses - these are an extremely good option! I don't usually leave reviews, but when a product has been so effective, reliable and helpful, I'm willing to write one. If you're looking for contacts, look no further.

Comfortable with great acuity
15 January 2023

I've worn Acuvue Moist Multifocals for over five years. They are so comfortable you don't know you are wearing them. I find my vision is much better with these contacts than with my glasses. Glasses were also starting to hit my cheeks and cause unwanted wrinkles. Other wearers have told me they have trouble removing ultrathin lenses at the end of the day, but a drop of pure moist rewetting solution helps free them up. Occasionally the lenses flip inside out within their sealed tray. You have to check to make sure they look like a dome, not a saucer before you put them in. Not always easy when you aren't wearing your glasses. From what I've heard at the eye doctor's office, multifocal contacts used to be problematic. These have been nothing but excellent.

Great new packaging, but...
12 February 2024

Love that Acuvue's packaging is smaller and less wasteful. BUT, also, how do I store my contacts? I've no place to store 3 months of contacts in my medicine cabinet, nor a 5-day set. The one-month boxes worked perfectly, because I could store them vertically or horizontally and maintain a month's worth of contacts in a tight space. What now? The next great packaging reduction would be if they can figure out how to reduce the plastic! Smaller handle? Shared handle? Product itself is excellent. I've tried long term, month-long, 2-week, and daily soft contacts, in a few versions. And this is the only kind that I've been able to wear during high allergy seasons and dry weather days without major eye irritation. Saved me from misery! Thanks for keeping this version going!
