1 Day Acuvue Moist - Daily Disposables - 30 Pack | Contact Lenses

These lenses are so comfortable! I used to wear the Air Optix coloured ones, however they were so drying I couldn't withstand the discomfort anymore. I switched to non-coloured ones, and these are actually the 1st I've ever worn. Firstly, I'd like to note that I have undiagnosed Dry Eye Syndrome, meaning that my eyes are highly sensitive and dry most of the time. As a fairly newer contact wearer (a year and a half), I do find that the lightness of these can make it flimsy to put in. But once put in correctly, they're very comfortable and I often forget I'm wearing lenses. They only start to feel a little dry after maybe 4/5+ hours, however it's not uncomfortable and you could just apply some drops. I really appreciate their thinness over monthly disposables; the high water content and breathability of these contacts makes them comfortable to wear. My only pet peeve is that it can be somewhat difficult to tell if it's inside out or not when checking before applying, however I think if you've got a trained eye you should be able to do so. Additionally, sometimes they do move around slightly, but when this happens I usually adjust it - could be because I require the bigger base curve diameter. Overall, I 110% recommend if you're after some affordable daily disposables :)

I've been using Lens store contacts for some time which I've been getting my daughters to order for me as they have accounts and have been very pleased, so I decided to open an account. I ordered the usual ones I've been getting my daughter to order. The lenses came and I put them in as usual but wen I put them in I couldn't see. I checked the prescription on the box and on the packets them selves just incase I was sent the wrong ones but everything seems OK. I even checked I wasn't putting them inside out but I wasn't. My prescription hasn't changed. I've already wasted five pairs checking , just incase it might just be one or two in the packet is defective but now it seems to be them all. Only thing I can think of is there is a quality control issue. Can you help?.

For some reason the solution that the contacts originally come in do not keep them moist or comfortable throughout the day. Also for some reason I keep having issues with the lenses in my left eye dragging up when I blink and getting stuck in my upper eyelid. I have a few of my old contacts left that I wore previously and I did a comparison between the two. The contacts I wore before were the Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily disposable and I don't have any issues with these dragging up or getting stuck in my upper eyelid and my vision is sharper and clearer than the Acuvue moist 1 day. I am very happy with the overall performance and comfort of the Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily disposable and they are also less expensive as well compared to the Acuvue moist 1 day. The Bausch and Lomb contacts seem a bit thicker than the Acuvue which could be why the Acuvue moist 1 day drag up and get up into the upper eyelid. I am not a fan of thick contacts lenses and do prefer my lenses thin but the Acuvue seems to be too thin or not properly curved from the factory which seems to be causing the dragging and getting stuck in my upper eyelid. The Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily is the perfect balance of thinness for me and both lenses feel perfectly curved so I don't get the dragging up into the upper eyelid with the Bausch & Lomb SofLens. This does not happen in my right eye so I'm wondering if the Acuvue moist 1 day contacts RX for my left eye is defective and the right ones aren't? Not sure why I only get the dragging of the lens in my left eye. The Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily do not drag at all in either eye. Also the base curve on the Bausch & Lomb is 8.6 mm with a diameter of 14.2 mm compared to the Acuvue moist 1 day which has a base curve of 8.5 mm with a same diameter of 14.2 mm. Not sure if that would make a difference? Or I wonder if it may be because the Acuvue moist 1 day lens material is very thin compared to the Bausch & Lomb lens material. Or maybe there is something wrong with my left eyelid? My eye dr. did a thorough exam and didn't mention any issues with my left inner eyelid. So I have no answers as to why the Acuvue moist 1 day lenses drag up and get stuck in my inner eyelid every time I wear them or why my vision is sharper and clearer with the Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily. All I truly know is that in my book the Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily disposables are the clear winners for me! I'm noticing with pretty much all new contacts these days that the original solution they come in is not as comfortable and moist as when soaking them in the Bio true solution first before wearing. Not sure if contact companies are starting to use cheaper solution to ship them in or not but after I soak my new future pair overnight in the Bio true they are noticeably more moist and comfortable to wear throughout the day. So my final comparison was yes on the Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily so after I use up the Acuvue moist 1 day I will not be reordering these. My number 1 pick from now on will the be Bausch & Lomb SofLens daily disposables unless I can hopefully find a monthly wear of the Bausch & Lomb SofLens instead of the daily since I prefer to soak them in my Bio true solution before first wearing anyways. I've been struggling to find a good pair of contacts for awhile now and I'm so glad that I finally found my go to pair. When I first got the Bausch & Lomb SofLens I thought they were a bit dry which is why I switched to the Acuvue moist 1 day but then I noticed it was not the contacts its the solution the contact companies are shipping the new contacts in. So when I soaked my Bausch and Lomb SofLens daily disposables in the Bio True solution it remedied the dryness. I hope this helps someone who is having the same issues.

I'm not one to wear contacts but after I went ahead to got fitted for some I figured, "Why not give it a go?" as I never had any problem with putting contacts in, just didn't see any point in taking that extra 5 mins to put them in when glasses were just easier to grab.3 months into wearing contacts and I really feel spoil. There are some hiccups here and there (the lens are inside out or just wasn't wanting to go in on the first try) but all 'n all I love wearing them. I originally thought, "Wear them for work and glasses on days off." but now I'm wearing them every day.Not about the lenses per say but I noticed since wearing contacts I've had little to no break outs around my cheeks, side of face and nose. Bad contacts/stick together/suctioned onto my eye!

Used acuvue oasis for long time. Eye Dr. suggested I try Acuvue moist. Thank goodness I only bought a three month supply because I do not like these at all. First off when I take the contact out of the package the sides stick together......forming a semi-circle. They really stick together and it’s quite frustrating to separate the contact sides into 1 single contact to put it in my eye. I waste a lot of contact solution trying to get it separated and it takes too long. I don’t have 10 minutes to waste on each eye...even five minutes is too long. However the worst issue I had with these contacts:The contact kept making my left eye water immensely and it felt as though it had a film covering my eye. But even then my left Eye kept getting irritated. Finally I went to take them out of my eyes completely-& this is By far the worst issue: when I took out my right one it had a slight suction to My eye!!! I felt it stick & pull on my right eye & it hurt!! I have never had this happen with any contacts ever!I will switch back to the Acuvue oasis as I didn’t have a problem with them. It’s still Acuvue brand but the oasis is good. Don’t use these moist ones! Bad!

Good lens for allergy sufferers

Pros- These lenses are very convenient . I’ve noticed I’m having less of an issue with dry eyes now that fall allergies are acting up. Also not having to buy solution is also a plus. Con is that I’ve had some lenses stick together when first opened and even with solution it can’t be used. I’ve had to open another one for one eye. Ended up with an uneven amount of lenses as my prescription is not the same for both eyes. Had to reorder earlier than expected but overall would recommend

I have not tried this product in a while so I am hoping this one is fine for my eyes. I like to wear contact lenses that are thin and soft and that have a low risk of damaging my eyes in a lasting manner. This means that while I have been consistent with my lenses, wearing gentle lenses every day I need them, I also want to make sure I don't overlook anything that might increase my chance of using the right products in my eyes. I can see how important healthy eyes are and I value every opportunity that I have to get this right and move on with equipment I can rely on. I benefit from these products, in particular Acuvue Tru Eye and so this is helpful for me to find it online.

I would not buy this product again
