It's so odd to me, seeing so many 5 star reviews on this canned kitten food. I foster neonatal kittens, and have never had good luck with this food. My adult cats and my Am Staff, who typically go to extreme, sneaky lengths to steal foster kitten foods, won't even touch this. I'm assuming it's a cheaper canned kitten food, because it's donated to our Humane Society a lot. It's one that they typically give out to fosters when they are low on donations. Everyone knows that the kittens don't eat it well. I can get about half of my fosters, at most, to eat it if I mix it with warm kitten formula. Plain, they will rarely eat it. The adults cats in my home and my garbage disposal of a dog don't even want anything to do with it. That really makes me wonder about quality. This is my GO TO cat food. I have a Mainecoon who is both an indoor and a backyard cat. He is extremely active and also extremely healthy, a big part of that being his diet. This is his primary source of food - unless you count the random bugs he finds on my daughters play set; and he has an incredibly healthy coat, healthy teeth, healthy eyes, and the list goes on. I attribute his phenomenal health to this product. I LOVE IT! When I rescued him, he was extremely underweight, abused, and scared. He was defensive over food, and could hardly digest what he did gobble down what the vet gave us. After using this product, he quickly changed all of that. He gained the weight he needed to resulting in a fluffy big fur boy. I am so thankful to this brand for giving my baby ... MoreThis is my GO TO cat food. (I’ve had him for 3.5 years, and have been using this food for 3.4 of that!)

Hills Science Diet makes far superior diet for any species you you would consider feeding their foods . Their cat foods are no exception. Their specialty diets and regular diets are prepared with dietary needs the highest concern. Each in made with veterinary I put as well I doubt very seriously you would find a good that is higher quality or better made. They make cat/feline, dog/canine, Bird/parrots, monkey/primate, rabbit/bunny, several other feeds items. You love you pets, feed them the best you can. Do your homework.

Very convenient. The same food as other places so it ensures continuity in feeding my cat daily. They can be very reluctant to eat anything outside of their usual routine. This is what he eats and his recent visit to the vet he weighed in to the gram, the same as last year. Perfect health
We rescued 2 kittens when they were barely 8 weeks old, now they are 2 1/2 and one has had severe constipation from the other dry food we gave him. Was told could only give him wet food from this point on. Our other fur boy LOVES his chows. So researched, and bought a small bag to see how they would like and WOW they loved it. Best part is, our other one no longer needs meds to help with constipation and he acts like a kitten again! I don't let them graze all day, I give 1/2 cup for both and they get wet food as well.
Kitty eats this like "the end" is in sight. Since we adopted her 90 days ago, she's put on almost 2 pounds of healthy weight. In the past I've usually bought a different brand, but since she came home from the shelter on this we thought it best not to change. She has slightly longer hair, would you recommend your hairball formula? I don't want to cause a problem with a switch and she has only had one hairball in the last 90 days. She's 1 1/2 years old and in good health. All that said, I find the velcro closure is a pain. You must use a scoop because if you pour it out, the food dust gets in the velcro and makes it worthless. I get that some people find zip-type bags difficult, but I feel it's easier to manage and keeps the food fresher. In any event, we'll keep ... MoreKitty eats this like "the end" is in sight. Good to have this delivered to the door, rather than dragging it back from the closest Pet Stock in the car. The price is about the same but I save on petrol costs and driving/parking hassle, which is great. My cats all like this and do not get fed up eating it daily. Have placed this in my repeat delivery basket. :)
My first two cats were healthy and happy eating Science Diet chicken dry food. Both died of old age (17 & 18 yrs. of age). My current cat, Marvin, loves Science Diet chicken (the same cat food my vet. sells) so I'm sure he will mature and live to a ripe old age also. Fleet Farm's prices are better than the vets. and customer service is always outstanding, even when I pick the cat food up outside in the yard. I always rely on Fleet Farm for cat supplies, and many other items, and shop there frequently for quality products, competitive pricing, and great customer service.
I have been feeding my girl this food since I adopted her and I'm so glad I do. She loves the taste and she's always ready for meal time! While it's a bit more expensive than other brands, there IS a notable difference in her coat and health. Currently, there are two cats in my apartment. My boyfriend feeds his cat Friskies and there is a huge difference between the cats. One huge difference is the smell of their #2's. Obviously, it's going to smell but when my boyfriend's cat uses the litter box I can smell it immediately! But when my cat goes I can't smell it at all! We use the same litter so it's not that. Maybe it's not the food either but everything is the same except that. I am trying to get my boyfriend's cat on Hills Science Diet because the right type of ... MoreI have been feeding my girl this food since I adopted her and I'm so glad I do. We have 6 adult cats that love your cat food. They are receiving adult 1 to 6 care and are eating well. However, recently you changed the size of the food chunks to a smaller size. So small that our cats are no longer chewing. Instead they are swallowing the chunks whole. Apparently the small chunks are not being digested properly and causing each of the cats to often ***** a short while after eating. There were never any problems with the larger size pellets. Our vet has recommended that we change food and we are currently looking for comparable alternative to your brand. We have continued to use your brand for our animals for years with great results and regret having to go with something new.
