The function of extra heat at the touch of a button is very good
It was turned on for about 10 minutes went to use it when all the screws holding the barrel end on went loose and a couple actually fell out from the plastic thread insert.If that didn't happen it would have been good value but obviously the plastic isn't sufficiently heat proof.
Great soldering iron quick heating,good light weight,easy to solder more than just wires,Highly recommended for the hobbiest.
Possible the wrong person to ask for a review and maybe I just got unlucky but it worked the first time I used it ,the turbo function is a help if you are in a tight area and need to join a wire quick and let it cool, but the next time I went to use the iron it got hot but turbo function would not operate, so that's ok but third time out plugged in turned on and its as cold as the fridge.!!! Sorry guys I intend to spend more and get a little more , Regards Paul
