No safety controls over heating. Merely continues to get hotter and hotter until tip glowing red. Super dangerous. A fire-starter for sure. Not to mention no use for soldering as it gets too hot. Would not recommend.

Very poor quality product. The tips oxidised almost instantly making it almost impossible to solder. You have to constantly sand back the oxidation to get any work done. I know it's cheap but it doesn't do the job at all. I put it straight in the trash.

Died after fourth use. Doesnt heat up anymore. I wish I kept my receipt!
Great little soldering iron, heats up well and well balanced in the hand
Purchesed last week. The tip would not tin, and hense would not transfer its heat to the work. The tip showed significant deterioration after just 30 minutes of use. Yep, I took it back. The iron may be ok, but it has a rubbishtip.
The shaft gets hotter than the tip, its absolutely useless. the tip also wont tin so it cant belt solder.
First time going to use it, after about 20-30 minutes of being plugged in, the tip is disintegrating and forming deep diverts.
First one I bought lasted half an hour before going open circuit. Replacement working fine. Have not had a problem with Ozito products before, which is why I buy Ozito.
this is the third one to be replaced. they just die after several uses, very poor quality. not recommended.
