40V Cordless Battery Whipper Snipper (include Battery and Charger)

Love it! Does a great job, simply + easily. Not heavy so it's not hard to carry about. It does come with a few extra plastic blades but recommend to buy more (which thankfully I did) as have already replaced original two after first use. Recommend.

The whipper Snipper looks fantastic, appears to be good quality and it wasn't complicated to assemble it at all. However, the blades are too soft and not durable and once one of them flew off to the middle of the road. I bought it to cut the grass strip on the council footpath which is only a few msq. Since I've been keeping it trimmed the grass is never massive I even thought of cutting it with a pair of secateurs. Still, this machine just can't cope with it and it stops each time it comes in contact with the grass. The seller and the manual said "just hoover over the grass then it won't seize." What a load of nonsense. The seller persuaded me to change the blades for the wire cutters which I did and achieved only marginal improvement in the performance. Yes, the battery is fully charged and I've been trimming the same area for 14 years so wouldn't call myself a novice. I'm returning it and asking for a full refund. This is a good-looking toy only which I don't recommend to buy..

Surprisingly powerful and easy to use. Light and quiet. Good battery usage time and made short work of the knee high grass in my orchard. Really pleased with the performance. The battery does take a while to fully recharge but once it does there's plenty of life in it. My neighbour was impressed at how quiet and powerful it was.

I was glad when I got but now when I use it it slip out so I got to stop using it. My daughter put it together but can't fine the tools to tight it up I'm just not happy. and can't find the rest of the blades. I'm so not happy I want to Whipper snipper and mowe the lawn before it rain again. Thank you with a Million Smiles 😃

love this whipper snipper. would buy again when this one no longer works one day.. cuts through knee high thick overgrown grass and weeds with ease.. full battery lasts about an hour in overgrown grass. my yard is also.pretty big and hilly and still.does

So much lighter and easier to use than a petrol w/snipper. Doesn't have quite the cutting reach of the former but a pleasure to use. Still getting use to best height and reach. Thought the nylon blades would quickly wear out but have cut five times and still good. Charges very quickly. Along with battery mower and edger, mowing is a pleasure.

I am still getting used to handling this Whipper Snipper. The 40V battery gives plenty of power and lasts very well. The cutting discs wear very quickly especially around paving or obstacles. I hoped the machine would be a proper edger as well. The head does rotate a bit, but not 180 degrees and I find I am chewing into the lawn with my edging attempts. I will keep at it and hope to master this one day.

I have used this once a few weeks ago for around 30 minutes. I’m a 74 year old woman and found this was quite well balanced. Not too heavy and I like the fact the handle can be turned to suit angle needed.I’ll need to replace the nylon cutting blades before the next use. It wasn’t used near concrete. Just weeds which were already dying off and less than 8 inches tall.It comes with 4 spare blades ( have to use 2 at a time) cost to buy replacements works out at $1 each blade. 1 pack of 20 for $19.99 delivered.Hopefully the next session won’t take its toll on the blades. The 40V motor is powerful enough to do the job.

Great quality trimmer

I've never owned a trimmer before buying this, but had an out of control back garden which my electric lawnmower couldn't tackle. This trimmer made light work of it and the battery lasted longer than I expected. My father also tried it and loved it.

Tough and easy to use

Arrived on time and was very easy to put together and looks to be solidly built. The battery is very easy to fit to the unit and hold firm. Well balanced with little vibration compared to a petrol unit so can be used for longer times without the aches. Blades supplied are OK but have discovered after market blades that do the job better and last longer as Swift are currently unable to supply genuine blades for this unit. The secret is to use a flexible blade and not the hard plastic blades that just shatter. The trimmer with its 40 volt battery has the power to go through some amazing tough grass that even a petrol trimmer with 2.0mm line would shy away from. It is light and easy to use. One of the easiest battery charges to use when recharging the battery. Well designed. The pictures show the long tough grass that this unit just ate! The standard length of the unit helps save the back with not the bending that smaller units need. Highly recommended.
