Very happy with my purchase so far.Everything works well and is a fairly user friendly design.Only had one small issue with the tail stock adjustment slot is a bit owersize. Letting the bolt head pull into the slot and I could not adjust the alignment properly. Switching from a m6 cap screw to a button head was a quick and easy fix.At this price point I expected more issues so I very happy.JW.

It was missing the handle and the alignment slot was machined a bit larger than needed. Switching to a button head bolt gave me a larger shoulder to bridge the larger gap and allowing proper adjustments to be made. As to the missing handle it's not a big issue sine I own a lathe and made my own.All issues aside for this price point I'm very happy!

I had my reservations about buying this lathe as the quality and accuracy was unknown but I was very pleasantly surprised. after a good tune up adjusting all the gibs and getting everything properly lubricated/aligned it has proven to be a real workhorse more than capable of making accurate parts.rigidity is fine, it will cut mild steel no worries but a spring pass is required but this is true of even much larger lathes.I have no issues recommending this lathe but be prepared to spend a bit of extra money on upgrading the tool holder and metal gears if you plan on doing a lot of thread cutting.

Was leary of buying this from 3rd party through Walmart but price was good and it was packed well. Works as advertised and quite a nice little Lathe to boot!
A nice little lathe.It works great.I was concerned about ordering a tool from an online seller because of service.I did have an issue with a loose bearing on the feed wheel but the seller gave me great service!I am very pleased with the seller and would buy from them again.
Ok with soft metals(bass and aluminum) but fuse breaks every time I use mild steel; I purchased and wired in a resetable breaker and it works better but not satisfied with the lathe. L
