7artisans 50mm f/0.95 to f/16 Lens For Fujifilm (X Mount)
The wide aperture lens is compatible with the APS-C format and has an aperture setting from F16 to a fantastic F0.95. The design allows you to create great movies. Furthermore, the fixed focal length is suitable for portraits, street photography, landscapes and reportage. The optical design consists of seven elements in five groups, including two HOYA ultra-low dispersion elements. These optimize contrast and color reproduction in various lighting conditions. The maximum aperture of F0.95 allows for beautiful shots even in dark or low-light conditions. You also have maximum control over the depth of field. To ensure that you enjoy your lens for a long time, the fixed focal length is made of robust metal. The multi-coating on the front glass reduces flare and ghosting, further optimising the image. This lens has a fixed focal length, which cannot be changed. Fixed focal lengths offer high speed, allowing you to shoot good images even in less than optimal lighting conditions. They are particularly suitable when you want to capture specific and characteristic image details. Thanks to the large possible aperture, a shallower depth of field can be produced. In this way, you can optimally expose subjects from the background with the targeted use of sharpness and blur. This lens can only be focused manually. Although manual focusing takes longer and is more demanding than working with autofocus, it does offer some advantages: It allows you to focus on exactly the point you want, enabling you to take shots that are exactly what you want. Even in situations where autofocus would quickly become overwhelmed - for example, in low light, smooth surfaces with little texture, or in foggy weather - you'll prefer to focus manually.

Love this lens, was exactly what I was hoping for. Super well built, all metal, VERY heavy for its size. Honestly only complaint is that its a little too heavy on my xe4. Lens is fully manual, focus and aperture, and does not add lens information (including aperture) to meta date. Lens is soft wide open but stopped down a bit gets sharper than I had expected. They need to make a wide angle lens next, would buy it right away.

Very beautiful bokeh, light and adorable, very sharp after f/1.4. Aberration is a bit serious @ f/0.95-f/1.4

I hesitate to review a lens because I am not one obsessed with sharp focus and any technical aspects of lens optics. All I can really say is that it is cheap, it seems well built, it works well on my Fuji X-Pro3. I gave it four stars because how can you give a cheap lens five stars? If I used it often I might opt for the Fuji 50mm 1.0 at six time the cost, but for my infrequent use, it is well worth the price.
I used the lens for a bout a week, and I had enough of it.There three biggest issues are:(1) lens feels super tight to put on the camera I'm afraid it will make the camera mount loose for other lenses or will break the camera mount.(2) there is almost a fuzzy band out of focus in the picture. I have comparison pictures between this lens (50mm) and the super cheap 35mm f1.2 first version. The 35mm does not have the out-of-focus at the same stop, f1.4 and f2. (3) The last issue is that when adding a UV/haze filter as lens protection, the lens cap will not stay. Given the size of the glass, it is a matter of time before I get it scratched without a filter.
This manual lens is one of a kind and worth experiment with. So much light coming in and shallow depth if field makes this a magical lens. I go back and forth with 23mm as my go to ones for Fuji T30 II.
Very affordable option. My second lens I ever bought because I wanted to try this manual lens. Very happy with it so far
A bit soft at f/0.95 up to f/1.4 but quite sharp at higher f-stops.It works great on my Canon R7, but it would be nice if the seller would advise customers who buy this lens to set camera's: Release shutter w/o lens to ON.
Very high quality built lens. Very smooth manual focus, need to activate focus assist to get focus on the mark.
