I use this product to play with my old Wii-U Pro Controller on a Switch.Except the installation who is a bit weird, it work perfectly. There is a video on the web to explain you how to make it work.

Controller (WiiU Pro) was not detected for certain games, or the keys were not assigned by default. In most games you can simply set the keys in settings so not a deal breaker, but if the game has no such option, you might struggle to get your controller work (I resolved this issue by adding the controller to steam and modify some settings there).Size is also quite big, which is an issue for laptops with usb ports on the side.Overall it works okay, but the price is so high. I would only recommend this product, if you have a very high quality controller you wanna use on a different platform.

Only drawback is that you cannot check the battery of the controller you are using

Works perfectly fine out of the box. There's a small latency compared to a direct connection but this is to be expected and it's still totally fine.
The connector works well, the only issue when using it with a PC is that it is only able to mirror a Xbox controller, not a switch controller. Beside this, everything works fine.
