I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! To me those are two of the most important things! I can’t go out I don’t have time to do anything... I appreciate anyone who can get me my stuff quick and who actually get back to you! Absolutely stunning

I love perfumes but can be very picky when it comes to them, going for those with a strong, and very long lasting fragrance. This perfume ticks all the boxes for me. Long lasting, and you only need a few spritz for the day ahead. The fragrance itself is absolutely beautiful, it's smooth, feminine and has an almost powdery scent, reminding me of relaxing in the countryside in warmer weather. It definitely makes my mind drift off to better times when I spray it. This is now one of my top three fragrance's and I will definitely purchase in the future.

Ahh! Yes! That’s the one

I had received a sample of Drop by Issey Miyake when Nordstrom was sending free samples with online orders (the good old days!). I debated to try a different scent by Issey, but stayed with Drop. finally purchased and received a bottle. As soon as I spritzed a bit on myself I took a deep inhale and said to myself “ahhh! Yes! That’s the one!” It’s so sweet and fresh it gives me happy feels.

Drop d'Issey Eau de Parfum

Every perfume for me has to have two items that in my opinion are essential: a good and long one fixation and mark my presence through the perfume. I am quite sensitive to perfume odors , so that when someone passes for me with a good perfume leaving that fragrant cloud in the air , I find it admirable ! A Drop d'Issey completes my perfume expectations: striking, lovely vanilla odor, something woody with a sweet floral mix, pleasant smell. Excellent fixation! I used the night and yes I think it was a success because I received many compliments! I marked my presence using Drop d'Issey. Excellent!

Good but then not so much

I was stunned when I smelled it first time. First impression is that this is pure fresh lilac closed in a small bottle. I immediately thought this will be my new favourite. Fresh flowery almost like soap a bit like medicine? But as it opened on my skin minute by minute it got worse and worse. I just cant get over this musky or was it woody scent, it just kills my nose and I had to scrub it off my wrists - and believe me it was very hard even after washing the dishes I could still smell it. It has amazing potential but the base scent is a big no for me.

My *Adulting* Scent

I am in my early forties, and I loved fruitier scents up until my mid 30's. I have used L'eau d'issei, however, since my 20's as it is a classy, clean, aquatic scent that evokes sexy nights on a beach as easily as it does sipping traditional cocktails at the Plaza.... Issey Miyake has made classic, timeless scents that can slip into casual and formal nights as easily as a quiet, restless spirit might.I got this scent as it has less of the sharper notes and starts you off on almond and lilac... it's really a beautiful scent. I say it's my adulting scent because it comes across as more mature without smelling overpowering or grandmotherly.

Review of Issey Miyake A Drop dIssey Eau De Parfum Spray 30ml

Fresh, fruity and floral. Hints of violets. Not dissimilar to original Issey perfume. Good summer daytime perfume. I bought it because the price was a good bargain. Had never smelled it before. Was a very good surprise when it arrived because I actually do like it. Not too sweet. Definitely not child-like. (If you know what i mean? Some perfume can be so sickly sweet i end up giving it away to my teenage niece)Nice for spring/summer.

Soft Reminiscent of Powder Smell

The scent brings back memories of smelling like my grandma with the baby powder like scent which I personally love. It has good staying power leaves a very nice subtle floral scent by the end of the day. Interesting bottle as I can appreciate the aesthetics it really does look like a water droplet but i felt it was hard to hold and use. I would prefer a more organismic design or a vintage bottle with a puff (for this scent) therefore the half from me.

The Scent is just Divine!

I ordered a sample of this perfume to try before I buy, but honestly there was no need because as I was opening the packaging I got a fragrant waft of the scent. And honestly, it smelt like a sweet subtle floral fragrance which wasn't too overpowering. Personally speaking from experience, I have never smelt anything like this kind of scent yet it felt so familiar and just like my type. It is eu de parfum which basically means that it would last longer than the average eu de toilette, so a little goes a long way! I have purchased a large bottle for everyday wear as I firmly believe that I have now found my new signature scent!
