I have been looking for a new perfume that is not overpowering, something that will last all day and that you can wear all year round. I am very pleased I have tried ISSEY MIYAKE a drop d'Issey EAU DE PARFUM FRAICHE!The fragrance is absolutely beautiful and refreshing it has the freshness of springtime air, rain, rivers and waterfalls whilst also capturing nature's stunning scents of fresh leaves with floral lilac and rose notes the sandalwood note really shines through to I love that you can smell each note and that one does not overpower the rest. I would definitely buy this perfume again and would also suggest others try who have not yet they may even add the fragrance to their shelves/perfume collections.

From a big brand like Issey Miyake, this is the type of perfume I would expect and they delivered. I only needed a couple of sprays and the scent was an abundance of floral. This is definitely a perfume which holds its scent for the majority of the day, so if you like strong scents this would definitely be for you. My overall opinion of the scent personally is I wouldn’t choose to buy it, just because it’s not the type of scent I would usually go for. I found it had quite a mature scent to it whereas I usually like something fun and girly! If I was looking to buy a gift for someone else though this would be a perfume I would consider, as I do feel this type of scent is quite popular.

This is light and soft, fresh and sweet scent (not over sweetened which I like).Very pleasant to the nose, not very musky. I like that it doesn’t feel heavy.The effect is felt straight after spraying once or twice.Once applied it feels intense, however after about 3h wear it becomes weaker but still appealing and durable.It lasts all day and even next morning there are still left soft notes.This scent is perfect for summer/spring season, holiday occasions and date nights, because it’s very romantic scent in my opinion.I can say it’s a good perfume, durable and lasting, after immediate application it’s very intense, but after few/many hours it’s soft and light, slightly sweet.I would recommend.

Love this scent. It's light, it's summery but it's not florally and that's what I love about it.Reminds me of ocean waves and summer breeze. There is salty freshness to it. It's so different to typical scents and can be worn and a day or night scent. There is a softness and yet sophistication to it.Doesn't feel too feminine and no sickly sweetness or overpowering. Honestly just a perfect, blissful balance.Would definitely recommend and it ones I'd feel confident giving as a gift.
I am a great fan of Miyake fragrances and was delighted when I received this as a gift. I really like the lovely fragrance and the beautiful bottle design. I am however disappointed that there were no instructions on how to spray this Miyake fragrance and had to find a You Tube promotional video to solve this issue. Hence my reason for giving it 4 Stars as I am finding the spraying device somewhat problematical to use.
The EDP of drop issey is focusing on the rain. So it’s all about the spring rain drop, so it’s earthly floral tonnes.It is a nice light spring floral eau de parfum. The parfum haslight hints of floral lilac and rose more earthly base tones with musk and sandalwood cedar wood. The round bottle that’s blue and green gradient is to portray the rain drop fall from the sky on spring day. Very niceFragrance
I love this perfume so much that it’s at the top of my Christmas wish list. A gorgeous, summery scent with strong floral notes that are bold enough to be noticed but subtle enough not to overwhelm. It’s beautifully fresh too and the best point was how long it lasted! I was actually surprised how long it lasts, even just after a few pumps.I feel hugged by delicious smells when I have it on and feel confident that I continue to smell pretty delightful throughout the day and have received many compliments on it. Can’t wait to grab the biggest bottle for myself!
I used the product for a week, but unfortunately, couldn't stick with it. When wearing the perfume, I found it a bit distracting and annoying, which probably means it's not a scent for me.Normally, I do like aquatic perfumes a lot, but perhaps not this one. The description of the scent promised notes of springtime rain and florals, but all I could smell is a rosy soap. I feel like the idea behind it is beautiful, but the scent could be made more subtle and luxurious than what it is.One positive thing I would like to highlight is the longevity of the scent. When applied in the morning, I could still smell it at the end of the day. Thumbs up on this!
I tried this scent over 5 days, and just a spritz at a time. It is a very strong fragrance which is quite over powering. I thought the scent would die down throughout the day and turn into a softer scent however it still stayed quite potent. Personally I was hoping the sandalwood and lily would balance each other out giving a nice floral scent. However this was personally to much of a potent fragrance for myself and to me smelt a little like aftershave for a while as it was to strong. I wish it was more of a smooth floral feminine scent like it is meant to be.
I have used other Issey Miyake fragrances before but can sometimes find them a little light and floral compared to other designers. This is similar but has a very fresh smell, almost watery. I would use this for the during the day and revert to a heavier fragrance for going out at night. The burn off is minimal and it retains the same scent after an hour of application. My skin type is white and non-oily and the smell remains string for 2-3 hours. I'd have to reapply after this.
