Absco's Basic shed range, characterised by its flat roof design, is an ideal solution for limited storage needs in confined spaces. Specifically crafted for placement under roof eaves or patios, these sheds provide economical and straightforward storage options. While still compact, this Basic shed has greater storage capacity, enough to fit bulkier household items and garden tools, such as a small lawnmower. While the simplicity of their design makes them cost-effective to build and install, it's important to note that, unlike skillion or gable roof models, flat-roofed sheds may experience some pooling in heavy rain if not covered, due to their drainage characteristics. Nevertheless, they remain popular choices for storage lockers in carports, along the narrow sides of houses, or discreetly tucked away in garden corners. Absco sheds are designed to be anchored to a concrete slab (not supplied). Bolt down kits are not included with this shed kit. Assembly is made easier with the help of pre-drilled holes and Absco’s patented SNAPTiTE technology that allows panels to lock into channels without the need for screws. Absco recommends working at waist height using trestles and timbers for a faster build. 2-3 people are required to build sheds larger than 1.5 x 1.5m to assist with holding panels upright during the final construction.
