Abus Touch 57/50 - Padlock
With the ABUS Touch 57, the worries about a lost key or a forgotten combination of numbers are passé.Make your life a bit easier and secure your bicycle shed or locker with the weather-proof fingerprint lock ABUS Touch 57. Finger on it and the lock opens. The 360°-capable sensor identifies the up to 20 learned fingers from each position – no matter how they are applied. The programming of the fingerprints is super fast. As one of two administrators, simply place their own, already learned finger on the fingerprint sensor for three seconds and the "teach-in mode" function is activated. It takes ten seconds to get to the Erase Mode setting. Accidental deletion of the imprints is thus almost impossible. The lock is equipped with a replaceable CR2 battery. Even after a battery change, the stored fingerprints are retained. With the hardened steel bar and thanks to the double ball lock, your property is secured in the best possible way at medium risk of theft. From now on, misplaced keys are a thing of the past. This text is machine translated.

A very easy and fast to use and setup - with 20 fingerprints inputs very handy for many users at the office or outside work.

- After a while, the fingerprint reader no longer reads your prints.- And even if it reads your print after every 3 or 4 attempts, you can no longer reset the lock because it needs to read the print you've set as the admin print, 3 times in succession for a reset....- No manual override!!- And finally, even though the lock itself is water resistant, you can not operate the lock when it's wet, or when you are wet, so it's impossible to open it when used outside in the rain or at the gym. In fact, the print reader is so sensitive that I would say this lock is not suitable for any kind of outdoor use

Please do not buy this product. The fingerprint recognition is not working. At least 10-20 attempts. Sometimes you are trying for minutes! Furthermore you can bend the bars. How secure is this.
