Definitely exceeded my expectations. Great products at a descent price imo.

I am a big fan of these fans. I have had a t4, t6, and now an s8. AC Infinity is in a league of their own. They top the competition in almost every category. If you use this in an area it can be seen, the look is sleek and the controllers for either models are unmatched by any other manufacturer. Next, the noise level is not only lower than others of the same size, but the multiple power levels off the ability to drastically reduce the sound. Their customer service is best in the industry as well. I buy a lot of products and even test many as a reviewer. I have no affiliation with AC Infinity but feel their products and service deserve attention from every potential buyer. Their is no reason to buy another fan or filter.

Cooling was all window units. I installed a high efficiency HVAC unit two years ago reusing the original ductwork. I rearranged an 8" duct to supply the upstairs with a locally available 8" duct fan in a crawl space. The 120V fan was noisy and inadequate during the cooling season. The ductwork was all insulated with bubble/foil type insulation for condensation. I replaced the duct fan with the S8 Cloudline. After starting the unit the increased flow was obvious and even on the plastic condensation started forming so I immediately insulated it. The unit is much quieter and provides adequate flow running 70%. I run the fan full time so it is constantly recirculating air from the main floor of the house. Between the useless android phone software and MS (better named MFer) trying to push their new garbage on us I finally put this together.

Oh so powerful and quiet.
25 June 2020

I am building an unconventional dust collection system for woodworking with a Cloudline S8 fan. I still don't know if it will be able to handle increased static pressure, but I added an inline Merv 8 filter in front of it and recorded 2920 feet per minute airflow with my Kestrel 1000 which translates into 819 CFM! That's with a light duty MERV8 filter too! I am impressed! I will add an Oneida Super Dust Deputy and an 8" to 5" reducer to the inlet, and a Horti Control Dust Shroom HEPA filter to complete the dust collector, and see how it performs with 4" and 2-1/2" vacuum lines. If I can, I'll post an update. It is ridiculously quiet at max power.

S8 for venting laser engraver
14 May 2021

I was a bit skeptical that this fan would have the venting power of a standard "squirrel cage" centrifugal blower, but it really performs! I have it venting my Laguna EX 35x54" laser engraver, which pulls air through 2x 6" hoses. It's extremely quiet, and keeps my workshop fume-free! I have an S6 fan venting my smaller Orion Motor Tech 20x28" laser, and it's a great fan too. I highly recommend these products.

T8 and S8
20 May 2022

I was very cautious in my purchase of an exhaust fan. I went as far as posting on social media asking for reviews on these products. Everyone suggested that this be the brand I buy. I ended up purchasing the T8 series exhaust fan and was very impressed. It was more than enough for my 5x8 grow room. After about a week the rivets let loose on the fan and it fell to the floor and broke a blade. I was heartbroken. I contacted A/C infinity and they shipped me a S8 series free of charge. I almost wish I could just buy a blade and use zip ties where the rebuts were and have two fans. Long story short, they have great costumer service and great products.

This thing is built like a brick ... house and can move an insane amount of air. So I have my laser down in a dungeon set in concrete and steel with a 20 ft long clay pipe chimney. I've tried several different fan options, most of which kept the cows up at night. I needed something that would move enough air so that the fumes didn't build up in the room and didn't trigger the seismometers. I came off my laser with a 6 in to 8 in "reducer" in reverse (going from 6 up to the 8 in intake on the fan) and from that went to the 8 in flue. When we turned it on you could see years of crud go flying out the top. Outside, well you can hear it running from all the air moving around the cap but so worth it and so much quieter than anything else I've tried. When it comes to servicing, AC Infinity thought this thing through. You loosen two rings and the main unit drops out. All of the plastic parts either come out easily or are held in place with an easy to remove screw for cleaning. Super simple to brush off and then wash clean. I can't speak to material buildup because the fan is so powerful that when I kick it on high it actually cleaned the run better than it was after servicing. The only thing I wish I would have known ahead of time that the 8" on the fan is not the same as 8" stove pipe but a little work with a hammer on the stove pipe fixed that. I'd say have a rubber boot around if you plan on using it with hard pipe. Let me say that AC Infinity can look forward to more of my business, in fact I think I'll be ordering their 16" attic fans for my barn eventually. If they are half as good I can't wait to show those off to the equis family and friends.

Had an old 4” fan filter for grow tent. Was to small and never really worked. It was in a 4x4x6.5 tent. Decided I needed to majorly upgrade. After doing my research I settled on this fan. I got acinfinity 8” ducting hose and 8” carbon filter through amazon as on here they were out of stock. Amazon was out of stock on this fan hence the 2 separate orders. Anyways I must say I am so highly impressed with all 3 of the products I purchased with the acinfinity brand. Cannot brag enough about how well they work and that they are all very quality products. The fan is amazing. Loud at top speeds but not as loud as other brands that I’ve heard. At medium speeds it’s not really noticeably to me but then I have ac on and numerous circulation fans too. The filter and fan combo have not only took care of any heat issues but have rid the house of smell. I got the 8” because my grow tent is in a room of its own that’s 770cf. It’s mounted in the tent but more than filters the entire room. I even smoke in there and can’t even notice it outside the room or even in the room after a minute or two. The products also have a nice modern look that I like as well. When I need to replace the filter I’ll be getting another one from acinfinity. If I ever need another fan same thing goes. Really if there’s a product I need that has the acinfinity brand on it you can prob bet I’ll get it with no reservation. Great products and affordable prices. Can’t beat them imo.

I am using this fan for venting a basement. I have a decent size basement where I run two dehumidifiers during the summer to keep the moisture out. As can be expected these generate much heat and makes my basement extremely hot. I installed a vent to the outside and using the fan and the appropriate duct work I’ve been venting out the heat. This fan is working excellent. Keeping my basement at a comfortable temperature, exhausting the hot air. It is also extremely quiet for the such a power fan. Highly recommend for venting air out of a room
