I have one of these fans installed in stereo cabinet. When nothing else is on, I can hear the fan from nearby rooms in my home. The fan seems to be operating normally, and it is loud when set to its lowest speed.

Found this fan while searching for a ventilation fan for my stereo system. I got lucky. Very happy with specs and performance.
I installed this fan in a small upper portion of my media center stand. Easy install, Fan vent cover is aluminum not like others that are plastic. Team this up with the AC INFINITY fan thermal controller and you dont have to worry about heat being a issue. I ordered one, just got finished ordering another one. Can't wait till the receiver fans(AIRCOM T-series) come out at the end of the month. Will be buying my cooling needs from AC INFINITY
The AC infinity Airplate S2 works very well in my AV cabinet which suffered from high temperatures emitted from some of the equipment. The slim design fits well at the top of the cabinet and was easy to install giving a profession look. The fan is very well made with high quality components and packaging. You do pay from the premium quality though. Multiple fans can be daisy chained via supplied USB and have a 3 speed setting. 1 and 2 speeds are almost inaudible at a distance but still move plenty of air. I have it set at 2. Great fan and features, I will look at AC Infinity products again
I purchased this fan to cool audio equipment in some built-in cabinets. I purchased a rotary/oscillating tool, which made the installation a breeze. Super quiet, thermal switch makes set and forget. Could not be happier.

I've used the Airplate fans for cooling cabinets housing electronics multiple times. Everything about them is top notch down to the packaging. They cool the space and equipment nicely and do not make much noise. The grilles are very nicely made and look professional on my high end cabinets.
This product dies exactly what I wanted it to except it came too late. I ordered it on a Sunday and paid for three day delivery. Monday I received notice it had shipped. Expecting t o see it on Friday, I was disappointed. When I looked at tracking, it showed the shipping label had been created but they didn't take it to the shipper until Wednesday. They sat on the item for almost three days when I'd paid for three day shipping. I didn't get it until late in the day on Tuesday the following week. Had to reschedule granite install because the item needed to be installed in the cabinet before the granite. Asked for a refund on shipping charge and got blown off completely without ever getting a solid response. Won't buy from these clowns again.
I installed this in the toe kick of my cabinet to pull hot air out. Installation was a breeze because it came with template and screws. It's small but delivers good airflow.
