What the title says. I've tried so many different products and treatments for my back acne, as a woman, I feel so embarrassed by it, and my regular prescription topical wasn't in stock, so my GP suggested Acnecide as a stop gap. It is absolutely amazing. I have had no irritation...I moisturise after it with any oil free moisturizer (whatever I have lying around) and I absolutely do not use any other treatments or actives. Simple unscented cleansers and soap bars only. Fragrance free moisturizers. Massive improvement after 4 weeks...my acne is 14 years old, and so are the marks, which are also improving. Very grateful!

I’ve tried multiple creams, lotions, cleanser, ointments and they haven’t worked. I went to doctors and even that ointment didn’t work it actually made my acne worse. I started to use this and for the first time in god knows how many years my skin has actually been clear. I use the sensitive skin Garnier micellar cleansing water first, second I put 4 dots of this cream on (forehead, cheeks, chin), and lastly I use Oleus oil free moisturiser (oil based moisturiser are a big no no for acne prone skin). Picture of me in the purple is what my skin typically would look like and the picture of me in front of the orange wall is what my skin is like now after using the cream for 3 months. There is a blur filter on the picture but you can see that my skin is completely clear

I very rarely bother to leave reviews, but having struggled for so long and having had nothing from the GP/dermatologist work for me, I thought I would try to help others here...This stuff is amazing! Other positive reviews and a 'buy one get one half price' offer convinced me to give it a go. I expected weeks/months of using before I saw any results, but honestly within a few days I saw a massive improvement. I do not have severe acne, more like a series of small lumps/bumps/redness on both cheeks. These would always get worse when my hormones were running wild but would be permanently there and sometimes grew quite large. But using this cream at night every day after removing my makeup has left me with barely anything there at all, it has really worked to heal ... MoreI very rarely bother to leave reviews, but having struggled for so long and having had nothing from the GP/dermatologist work for me, I thought I would try to help others here...This stuff is amazing! Something that stronger prescribed creams/gels etc have never managed to do.Some reviews mentioned it drying out your skin, but I haven't personally noticed this. I use a tiny amount of moisturiser the morning after using this cream and ive had no dryness at all.Honestly, I would recommend giving this a go to anyone who has struggled to get anything else to work, it's been a life saver for me! :-)

I literally never write reviews but for this I just have to! I bought this product after seeing multiple recommendations online for this product as well as seeing good reviews.I applied it one evening not expecting drastic changes. However, the next morning (EVEN AFTER ONE USE!) I noticed how it had settled many of my spots. After a couple days of application it completely got rid of most of them! I went from having a T zone (primarily on my cheeks, chin and forehead) covered in spots, to now only having a couple. I have only used it for almost 2 weeks now, and it’s almost got my acne free! However, I must say at first it does make you skin EXTREMELY dry as your skin isn’t used to it. I hadnt read that this was the side effect when I first got it, so initially I was alarmed. However upon reading other reviews and instructions I realised it was a side effect. That’s why I’m keeping it at 5*s. As long as you are aware and prepared for potentially quite dry and sore skin at the start, then honestly you will be so impressed! I have had acne I haven’t been able to get rid of for the last 3 years and this has finally done the trick! Go get one! So cheap and affordable too. I’m hoping my skin won’t become immune to it or anything like that, but so far so good with amazing results! ;)
I used to have very bad acne and I had been going through so many different creams and face washes spending ridiculous amounts of money looking for something that would work. I even tried this cream but gave up after a week! Thank god I decided to give it a try one last time. It’s it extremely tough the first few weeks with the dryness but it does get better. I also had acne all over my face so I had to put the cream all over my face. After about 10 weeks I still saw no improvements in my skin and was about to stop using the cream. But I did some research and I found out that it can take a while for your skin to get used to the cream and for the benzoyl peroxide doing it’s thing which is killing the bacteria on your face. So I stuck with it and finally started seeing improvements. After about 14 odd weeks my skin looked amazing I was over the moon and the cream still works to this day. That was 4 years ago! I still use it every single day with a clean and clear face wash. I stopped using this cream a couple of weeks ago for the first time and my spots came back within a week! I started using it again and my skin had started to look better within a week. Once you have gone through that long period of your skin getting used to the cream you can start and stop using it and it will work straight away. 4 years on and it’s still working wonders on my skin. One tipI will say is that you have to use it religiously every day within that period where your skin is getting used to it as it will speed up the process. I honestly hope this cream helps someone like it helped me and give them there confidence back that’s why I’m writing this review. Stick at it even if you think it’s not working because it took over 3 months for it to start working for me.
I honestly NEVER write reviews. I always read others before purchasing but never seem to get round to them myself, but with this product, I've had to come on and write a review. I've suffered with hormonal acne terribly on my cheeks/jaw for the last few years - painful, red clusters on my cheeks that literally NEVER go away. I've tried so many different products, including prescription gels/creams from the GP and nothing has worked. I purchased this gel based on the reviews but wasn't expecting it to work. Well, WOW. I've only been using this for a week and the difference in my skin is HUGE! The big, painful, red lumps are all but gone and there are some smaller, dried out spots in their place, but this is the first time in years this has happened. I don't have servere acne but I work in care and having to wear a mask for 2 years has taken its toll on my face, particularly my chin! I have had small acne type spots around my nose and chin, I have tried all sorts of lotions and potions to get rid of them with no luck. I've been using this for 2 weeks and the difference is incredible. they have just about all gone. I will say that at first I found it very drying, causing my skin to flake, I've personally found that putting a light layer of moisturiser on first and letting it soak in then applying the cream works really well. No more flaking, no more spots....I'm very happy with my purchase! Just be warned though it will bleach your pillow case!
So, I'm a self declared skin care enthusiast and I am obsessed with looking after my skin.I am a male in my early 30's and just had 3 random breakouts and one that never surfaced under the skin - but was a noticeable 'bump' to me. Nothing I had in my 'large swag bag' was tackling this, so I did some research.Benzoyl is a really clever peroxide that almost breaks down a spot under the surface of the skin. It also worked well on surface level spots too. This is a tiny tube, but the SMALLEST amount is required, think 1/15 of a pea sized amount. Rub it in well for daytime as dries white and very dry. At night, repeat rub it in well but leave enough visible residue on the spot to have a more deeper action.Would recommend having this in your spot emergency swag.
Tried everything to get rid of my acne. From subscriptions skin care to drug store.Would suggest to do own research before starting this. I have used it yrs ago, but stopped and forgot about it.It used to be really hard to get in the UK.So so glad asos stocked it… wanted it immediately once i found it. Yey to next day delivery. Started using a very small pea size at night. The very next day i could see the difference in my skin. Not even been a week, my angry spots r gone. Only marks and some dry skin now. Top tip, use lots of moisture. And SUNSCREEN in the day on top of ur moisture.Again STRONGLY advise to do ur research first. And always start with a small amount in the beginning.
I really don’t think a cream this strong should be sold by on online retailer who are unable to verify age.Whilst the cream does come with warnings about how to use, I do not feel, compared to other products, such as acid based products, that they are clear nor thorough enough. I also feel the advertising and branding of this cream is targeted at a younger audience who long for Instagram perfect skin which can only be achieved by using filters.I used this product once and I have a severe reaction all over my face. This did not occur until the next day. I followed the instructions and washed it off. I assumed it was an allergic reaction, which a product, I feel can’t be blamed for. However, after seeking medical advice from the NHS, this has been confirmed as a chemical burn, albeit a mild one. I used a pea sized amount of product and I am an experienced skin care user. I dread to think what would happen if a child got their hands on this.I really do not feel it is something ASOS should be selling.I also feel that I can’t give this product 0 stars as it does come with some warnings, but a chemical burn is not something I would expect from anything so easy to purchase.
