Adidas Best Racing Shoe For Marathon

Adidas Best Racing Shoe For Marathons and half. Love how cushion and stable of a ride it is. I overpronate at slower paces or near the end of the marathon and this shoe is very stable for a SuperShoe. Wide Heel and Energy rods keep my ankle from rolling in.Highly recommend this shoe for the marathon. IT really rolls you on your toes and keeps you moving fast. I run a 3:30 marathon and looking to run 3:20 next race and this is my pick.i also love that it is not super squishy. It is soft without the sinking in feeling. Its just really comfortable with a great rocker. Plus it is probably top 2 best looking shoe .(i like the pro3 as the best.)

Bouncy carbon plated speed for all

This is my third carbon plated shoe and it might be my favorite over what are considered the kings of the category. The stability at easy paces is top notch. I tried out heel striking just for kicks, and didn't notice any wobbliness, either. Marathon and half marathon paces were easy to hold, but it did take a few minutes to really lock in my half marathon pace, as I was going about 20 seconds faster than I wanted to. My only knock on the shoe was the fit on my right foot. The heel slippage was a bit much during my first run and the tongue rubbed a bloody mess into the front of my ankle. I was able to mess with the lacing and fix it the next time out, but the heel hold was noted by many "shoe-tubers" and should be kept in mind. It's an issue, but not one without an ... MoreThis is my third carbon plated shoe and it might be my favorite over what are considered the kings of the category. Great shoes, but best for heel/mid foot strikers

These are super bouncy but check the sole carefully if you are a mid foot striker, especially if you tend to wear down your shoes (and land) on the outside edge. The sole is cut back towards the little toe - presumably to encourage a push off the big toe- but if you tend to strike on the outside of your foot you will be pushing off on bare foam with no protective sole. Not for me.

Lightweight and comfy
8 October 2024

Very lightweight to use and comfortable. The sole’s height is not too high unlike other carbon plates shoes. I used this in long distance running and it really helps with the fact that I don’t need to exert more energy in lifting my feet lol!I also love the color (I got the pink aurora metallic), suits any of my outfit.

Nice long distance shoes
17 August 2024

I like them a lot! Only thing is that I have to tape my Achilles to avoid rubbing issue… love the outsole and insole. The lace can take a bit to figure out but else than at my heel I have no upper rubbing problem! They look very cool! I’m typically 6,5 women for a long run shoes and they maybe run a bit long! But overall I’m very happy about them

OUCH

Well, looking for the next great super shoe and these are not it. The upper is an absolute disaster, so rough that it literally tears into your socks, and it's really hard to get a good lock down. Also, the heel collar is brutal as well, first, the bumpers seem to be a bit too high and they are so rough. If you hit the rear of the heel collar it slices into your achilles. I do like the cushioning, but, these are suppose to be the most stable in this line, and going around corners you really have to slow down. Good heel to toe transition, but I'm sticking with my Vaporflys for racing. I couldn't imagine running a marathon in these. I'm kinda sick of these stupid energy rods as well, really would like more structure to a carbon plate. I've got about 50 miles on them, mostly tempo to threshold work and I'm so tired of them chewing up my feet. Needs a whole new upper material, sorry environment.

Roomy with soft spring
30 June 2024

I took these out for a pacey 10km and they were pretty comfy. I would say it is quite a roomy shoe which suits me as I normally need wide. I think 7.5 would hold up fine as plenty of toe box and good grip. Shoe did feel stable and lightweight in feel though the spongy base did not give me an overall spring. You’d expect it to translate to good energy return.

Running on bouncing rubber
24 June 2024

Very bouncy. Very interesting shoe to run or jog.Shoes lace is funky and take a awhile to get it right to put it on.True to size and quite roomy, I can only wear wide shoes like Hoka or Topo or Altra and this one I order half size up and felt too loose and is thinking about return it but I adjust the shoe lace a bit and now it fits quite well and next time I may order true size.It is pricy shoes, I have never ordered any running shoe over 200 quits but this one may worth it provided it lasts longer than any of my Hoka. One extra point, the shoes are ultra light and maybe great to carry to travel on the plane.

The right shoe, if you want a firmer super shoe
19 July 2024

I think this is a really good shoe and will work for a lot of people. It just wasn’t the right shoe for what I hoped to use it for. The lightstrike foam is quite firm, and that’s a big positive for me in a 5km or 10km race, however i couldn’t take this for a half or full marathon. Its just not forgiving enough for me over a long distance. The upper and grip is phenomenal though, can’t fault it in that regard.

[Rewarded Review] Fantastic Shoes for Marathon Runs!
19 November 2024

The adidas Men's Adizero Adios Pro 3 Running Shoes are excellent for marathon runs! They provide great comfort, support, and cushioning, helping me perform at my best. The shoes are lightweight yet durable, making them perfect for long distances. Adidas is a noteworthy brand, and these shoes live up to the high standard they’ve set. I highly recommend them for serious runners!
