Very happy with this excellent product. The depth guide made the project so much easier than would otherwise have been the case. The saw was easy to handle, provided accurate cuts and was simply a joy to use.

Overall a good circular saw, the only problems are the guide is a little sloppy, and the fastener for the angle adjustment can vibrate loose while cutting. (ruined a good piece of ply)

I needed a circular saw to replace a very old Ryobi that was permanently installed in my Triton Work Centre, which essentially means that it operates as the equivalent of a table saw and fixed in place permanently. I imagined that the modern equivalent of something to replace the ancient Ryobi would be of the order of $250. So imagine my delight when I looked at the Bunnings' website and found the AEG and one or two other brands of saws under $100.
