Purchased reciprocating saw skin to use for removing an old timber fence. The AEG A18RS saw made easy work to cut through the fence rails and posts. I have since used it to trim tree branches as well. The saw performed the tasks with ease. It has plenty of power when teamed up with the 18V 5A batteries. I am extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend this saw. Another quality product from AEG.

Easy to use & loads of power to cut through pallet wood & branches… On par with other brands in terms of weight, but far more power for the weight!
My first brushless AEG tool and wow what a difference. The weight of the tool isnt too heavy, feels good in the hands, the light is a big help. Plenty of power.
Using it primarily for pruning work. Prefer it to a chainsaw as there is no bar oil needed, no oil dripping mess to worry about and no sharpening and adjusting chains. With a 12 inch pruning blade it can cut branches as thick as a chainsaw with a 12 inch blade. Good quality pruning baldes last well, also changing blades takes only a few seconds. The orbital action is perfect for pruning work. This newer model's blade change mechanism is better that the model it replaces.
I have been using AEG tools for several years. They are well built and last the distance. The bundles with batteries make it really easy to get started. Check out the weed eaters and lawnmower they are so conveniant.
Handy, powerful tool, great for many different jobs. I like the improved blade lock mechanism too.
Best battery demo saw I have owned, plenty of power to rip through just about anything, I use it a lot on metal, cuts like butter with the right blade, and a very handy foot adjustment so you can use the entire blade when sections of it become blunt
This saw is very good but if you are replacing the battery a lot on the saw I noticed that the battery doesn’t click into place very well over time . I have 2 the top model and the second model but over all the best on the mark for power and durability by far .
