Aesop Conditioner 100 ml

Thick and creamy conditioner; a little goes a long way. Detangles my hair nicely and leaves it feeling so silky and healthy. Works brilliantly with the shampoo. It’s the only shampoo and conditioner I’ve come across where I can leave my hair to dry naturally and it doesn’t turn into a complete fizz As mentioned with the shampoo, I’d love these to be my ‘go-to’ hair products but they’re just so expensive!

I have thick quite curly hair, which is long and tends to get quite dry at the ends. I would say I use about five to six pumps. Brush it through then apply a shower cap to lock the moisture. It works wonders. Smells absolutely gorgeous shame the shampoo and conditioner don’t come together in a duo.

Classic Aesop Quality but expensive.

Aesop make great products in my opinion. Great because they work, because the sensorial elements e.g. fragrance, viscosity suit my preferences, and are Australian made (but not owned). This conditiner aligns to my expectations for my normal hair. It is expensive though, perhaps better value though given it is a 500ml bottle than other premiums and being Australian made is worth the extra and better for the environment.

Jury’s out

I purchased this conditioner as I suffer from an allergy to certain preservatives found in most shampoos and conditioners so I thought I’d give it a try. Whilst it’s a really nice product and smells lovely, I can’t say my hair is the best after using it. It sort of feels like a bit of a residue is left and my hair feels a bit straw like after. I’ve only used it 3 times so far so maybe my hair needs to adjust to it or I need to rinse it out a bit more. Either way, I shall persevere and see where it goes. I’m not writing it off yet- I can’t afford to as it was too expensive!

Lovely smell, not very hydrating

As the title says, this has a lovely smell but I don't find it very hydrating. I find the smell woody and with a hint of churchiness (from the frankincense) but not at all musty. Unfortunately as a conditioner it doesn't really help to detangle and smoothen my hair as much as other brands. Better for those with short hair, I think.

Meh

I love the scent of Aesop products, but I will stick to their hand and body products. This conditioner smells great but does absolutely nothing for my hair. I need a lot of product and after washing it out it feels no different. Also after drying it is quite dry and frizzy. Would not repurchase or recommend. Only two stars for the scent.

Rich, lovely conditioner - perfect size.

Lovely conditioner. Goes very well w shampoo. You only need a small amount if you hair is dry and fine. I do find leaving it in for a good 3-5minutes makes all the difference when you are drying you hair. Leaves it very smooth and silky - compared to kielhs etc.

Smells good, but other than that no more

The conditioner is rather thin and is average for moisturizing the hair. Other wise it is also very ordinary and does not match the price. There are too many conditioners that are cheaper and better than it. The fragrance is not particularly impressive even though it smells good,

What is this

This "conditioner" does absolutely nothing. Again, smell elegant yes but doesn't last at all after using, texture and properties wise more like a cheap hotel conditioner -one where you'd keep pumping and loading on and still feel like you have niothing in your hair. WAY overpriced for what iut is.

Works great with the shampoo

Great for dry, damaged and color treated hair. Makes it comb through pretty easily and works great with the shampoo. The scent is nice, herbal, sophisticated. A little bit goes a long way. Love Aesop skincare and haircare. So far everything we’ve used has been great. I tried the small size and have the larger sure shampoo- you can usually get away with less conditioner. Would definitely buy this again. Thanks, Space NK!!
