Aesop Olous Aromatique Room Spray - 100ml

Of the three Aesop home fragrances, Olous is my favourite. They are all clearly essential oil based, and without the complex accords or scents that you find in other home fragrances. But this is the most earthy, the most grounded, the most effective at masking odour. This is a perfect scent to provide for a washroom with a toilet, it clears the air quite well. I would not personally use it elsewhere as it isn't sophisticated enough. It also fades, like all three of the scents in the line, almost instantly.

Different, a little masculine

I fancied a room spray which wasn’t the usual bouquet of flowers and Toilet Duck for my kitchen, after cooking. Aesop’s Istros is quite different, which I think is mainly due to their inclusion of Tobacco, which isn’t something I’d usually plump for. For this reason, it smells slight more masculine, which is fine, so would be an ideal gift for a gentleman’s home or of course a lady who hates floral scents. It is long lasting and one or two spritzes is all it takes to fragrance my kitchen. Slight word of warning if you have smooth floorboards as it does make my floor a bit slippery (I spray high in the air of course, not the floor!).

Great smell - not so long lasting unfortunately

I ordered this as I am a fan of Aēsop products and believe 9 out of 10 products are excellent. This is no exception. The smell is great but unfortunately does not last long at all. I have Glade sprays that cost a 10th of this and last longer(obviously smell a lot more generic than this). This is more of a staple product. One that you want your friends to see when they visit your home. Which brings me to another topic - the bottle I received was slightly damaged. The cap was bent - I believe as it was dropped at some point. But I chose not to return it due to the hassle. It does not affect the purpose of the product. Great woody, fresh smell

I bought this room spray as an alternative to my usual Baies spray which, whilst lovely, can be a bit overwhelming. This Aesop spray is a lot more ‘natural’ smelling and discreet - not surprising given the brand. It’s an extremely nice fragrance; definitely not floral or wispy. It’s nice and crisp and clean smelling. The lasting power isn’t huge but you can spray it liberally and you’ll still get whiffs the next day. A nice alternative to burning a candle.

LOVE

Love this smell! Took a risk purchasing it online without smelling it. And was soo happy with the product. Smells luxurious and a bit different. One spray is enough yet not at all overpowering. I also received fast delivery which was fantastic. Will definitely buy again!

Lasting scent

This has a really strong rich scent. It lasts for hours and it was too strong for me as I am sensitive to scents.I have tried room sprays that are too light and don't last, so this is much better. But another scent may be better for me.I was not sure what to expect when I saw tabacco was one of the scents, but it just adds a little smokiness to the florals, and makes it more unisex.I think this was not the right scent for me but it's a great product. I would love to try the other scents.

Lovely room spray

I love this room spray. It's great to spray on linens or on the carpet to get the fresh Aesop smell in the home. If you are looking for a room spray or air freshener this is a really great choice. Very natural smelling and calming. As you would expect from Aesop - it's a great choice.

Lovely stuff

Due to terrible design our house has a lot of drapery near the kitchen , and it’s difficult to get cooking smells out. I quite like spraying this on the curtains – it helps with the smells and isn’t too floral or cheap smelling. It’s a bit pricey for what it is, but much better than going low-cost and getting that headache-inducing smells of chemical room sprays. The scent is a bit masculine, like an old-fashioned men’s aftershave.

Not enough for a large space .

I like things that I’ve previously had from this brand. Bought in search of a pleasant festive fragrance for my downstairs rooms/hall. Sadly, it just isn’t powerful enough & it doesn’t last long at all. I usually buy Dyptique & will certainly revert to that brand. It’s nice bough but I’m disappointed.

Unique and magical

Love Aesop room spray! This is my second bottle of their room spray, first bottle of Olous. Have been and always will love their quality and unique aroma which you won’t find anything similar anywhere else. If candle is out of your budget, def do try their room spray. Just as magical
