Aesop Reverence Aromatique Hand Wash 500ml With Screw Cap

 I’m not sure exactly what the hype is around this brand, but after trying this particular soap with the granulations, I will say it’s not worth it in my opinion. The reason being that it does dry out your hands first and foremost especially if you’re washing your hands constantly which to me is not a good sign of quality. The small particles are nice but they ended up clogging the pump and causing the product to have issues coming out. It’s very frustrating to have to deal with this especially considering the price of the product. A little drying

This hand soap smells so natural and refreshing and I bought it specifically for the exfoliating rind as I love a little luxury treat for a bathroom hand wash. However I found it a tad drying and my hands were a little sore at times although this bear in mind that I've used throughout Winter and almost daily use due to WFH. But your guests will adore it and you will get many compliments and I think that is exactly what this soap is for! Another reason for 4 stars is that it does last - I bought it 4 months ago and it is still going! Alas for everyday use I wouldn't repurchase it. The Aesop Resurrection soap is more of an all-rounder. If you have a guest bathroom or won't use every single day? Go for it!

Cult favorite

I can see why this is a cult favorite. The exfoliating granules are a great touch. The formula is amazing —quite thick rather than gelatinous like (which is common in cheaper formulas). The fragrance is amazing -– very fresh and uplifting. I have yet to find another brand similar to this. It would be great if the refill packs come in larger quantities!

Favourite soap of all time

It speaks volumes that my husband thinks it's ok to spend this on a soap because it's so good. The smell is divine and the pumice leaves hands feeling extra clean and soft. The perfect kitchen soap and combined with the moisturiser it's a fabulous duo. As with all aesop products a little goes a long way and it lasts for a long time and the bonus is it's gentle enough for our toddler to use when we wash her hands. Don't hesitate to buy!

Lovely but flawed

I adore these hand washes. Love the exfoliating beads and they all smell amazing. Leave hands soft and smelling nice. And they last for ages. However - every single bottle I have had, the pump mechanism has broken. So I can’t justify buying the original let alone the refill! It can’t just be bad luck at this point so I’m sticking to the space NK ones

Lovely lingering smell

I LOVE this scent so much. It's a bit strong if you sniff it straight out of the bottle, but once you use it and rinse it off your hands, the lingering scent is very addictive and I can't stop sniffing my hands. I can't figure out why this is less popular than the other resurrection scent, which smells pretty generic to me. I took off a star because it's a bit too drying with repeat use. Texture-wise, it's satisfyingly thick and a little goes a long way. I only need half a pump for a hand wash.

Luxurious and smells divine

I LOVE this hand wash. After using it many times at restaurants and cafes, I finally bought a bottle to use in the house. It smells so so good; I'm a huge fan of vetiver which is a prominent smell in this hand wash. It feels nice to use and every time I wash my hands now I have a moment of happiness. It's the small things - this hand wash definitely brings something extra to my day!

Nice smell but just not my texture

I think I purchased this hand wash by mistake. Because if I knew that it contains finely milled stone I would choose something else. As personally I don’t really like the feeling that I wash my hand with a gel containing tiny sand. But I should note that this doesn’t affect my skin in a bad way. It doesn’t harm it or make it dry. The liquid part without these bits feels very luxurious. It has the devine and very interesting scent. Not overpowering though. Personally I wouldn’t use it for every day hand washing. Only as a special treatment couple of times a week. But it is just my subjective opinion. As my husband really loves this product and enjoys using it every day. Reverence Hand Wash

This is a lovely product and I have used both Aesop's hand washes. Personally I prefer this the scent is interesting and woody but you don't get the hit of geranium as you do with the other one. The pumice stone in this wash makes your hands feel lovely and exfoliated and soft, I think your hands feel better after using this wash than with the other one. This is my favourite now.

the best soap!

I didn’t think I could love a soap this much. I was first introduced to Aesop at a favorite restaurant’s bathroom and I had to have it. I put it in my likes/saved for later until I got a notification it went on sale so I could justify the purchase a bit more. But even at full price, I think I’d still buy. This stuff is amazing - after one use, I already feel my hands are softer instead of chapped like they usually get after washing! The smell is amazing. It is quite an extra purchase but in my opinion - totally worth it. The only surprise was the bottle! Thought it was going to be glass but instead it’s plastic. It doesn’t necessarily bother me - I just didn’t expect it for the price!
