This is a pretty phenomenal pool cleaner. The charging is not a hassle like I thought it would be, and the eco mode where it can go every 2 days on it's own for a week is amazing. And it picks up big debris VERY well. However, unfortunately I didn't research enough and didn't realize it only does 180 micron filtering — which means dust/dirt just shoots right through it all over the pool. I live in AZ where there are frequent dust storms and it's a problem. I wish I had realized the next model up for 300 more (a bit steep) DOES have an extra 3 micron filter. Other than that, pretty outstanding product.

The robot looks great, is light and easy to use and does a decent job of cleaning up debris when it passes over it and doing the walls. The problem is that the floor mode program is essentially broken and results in the robot continually going back and forth over a small section of the pool for the entire cycle. I tried many times to set it off to a different part of the pool but it always ended up back in its loop in the same part, turning back after a reaching a wall. 90% of the pool area was never cleaned Very frustrating for what could be a great device. Unfortunately I had to return it.

I was skeptical of this product at first. I am moving from a pressure side to this. After 3 days of letting N1 run.....I'm not skeptical anymore. This thing has picked up so much dirt and debris off the floor of my pool! It has cleaned the walls and waterline flawlessly. The N1 has auto, floor, wall, and eco modes. I have used the all but the eco mode. Now that I am comfortable with its cleaning abilities, I am going to try the Eco mode. Amazed how the N1 has worked. So far so good. I now have high hopes for this product!

Great product. We did our research prior to buying. For the price this model offered what we were looking for. Easy start up, just charge and it’s ready to go. Did a good clean on our pool. Don’t think we will use the wall cleaning feature each time. It was easy to retrieve after it was finish cleaning. Parks its self by the wall. Used the hook that come with the cleaners to easily remove from the pool. Would recommend if you’re looking for a cordless pool cleaner.
I purchased the aiper s1 for my 40 foot in ground pool due to my Polaris 360 driving me crazy with the cord constantly getting tangled. I wanted to love it because it was $250-$300 less than the Hayward dolphin which my reviews had initially sent me to. It did fine with covering the pool and cleaning the walls however did not clean all the debris off the bottom of the pool. I ended up returning it after trying for a couple weeks to see if it would pick more stuff up but it didn’t. I went with the Hayward dolphin cc plus and it is awesome. Hope this review helps someone to not waste their time as I did.
I have been using first generation pool robots for at least 15 years. This was an upgrade from my previous Aquabot which was tethered and ready for an upgrade. While this item seem to be highly rated by reviewers it did not work at all for me. I have a standard rectangular 18x36 pool with nothing special other than four steps in the shallow end. Given the advertised route that the robot takes in the pool it seems like a no-brainer in a rectangular pool. I would start it in the shallow end and immediately after the first few Cycles it would lose its way and Drift from the pattern leaving whole sections uncleaned. This got worse as it entered the deeper end of the pool or it began performing wheelies during every path. Thankfully, I was able to return for a full refund with Walmart.
We were not impressed by this cleaner at all. It missed the edge where walls meet floor most of way around our pool. We felt the track protrude slightly in the the sweeper roller so when it meets the wall it doesn’t clean the edge. I don’t think it could cope with our kidney pool - as it couldn’t map the bottom with gaps and stripes left on the floor. It did clean the walls to water level ok but The collection basket let the smaller particles through so it dusty still on the bottom floor when it had finished.Obviously we send it back with Pool and Spa Warehouse 30 day free returns.
I have a rectangular 26x12 pool with quarter rounded corners and stairs that goes from 3' - 6' deep. After several uses overall it's an "ok" robot cleaner. It took about 3-4 hours to get it all cleaned then loose power. I always use the Auto mode which cleans the walls first then when battery runs low, it will focus on cleaning the bottom. In Auto mode, it always gets stuck in one corner of my pool where the stairs and rounded corner meet where half of the robot sits vertically in the end of the first step of the stair. This will happen several times in the same location in one session. So, I make it a point to check on it every hour. It will get itself out but only after about 15-20 minutes. So, it consumes unnecessary energy. The filter does not catch smaller particles like if you have some algae in the pool. So what I do is put this thing in while the filter is running which is not recommended in the manual. But, I do it with my filter running in low RPM only. It does not learn the shape of the pool like a Roomba learns the floor plan of a house. It looses orientation while turning while in the slope. Overall, it does it's job good. But, not great. Easy to clean filter.
