The K612 PRO are open, dynamic headphones for everyday studio use. The headphones have been specially developed for use in professional environments and offer a uniquely transparent sound image. This is due to the detailed treble resolution in combination with an optimised low-frequency reproduction through the breathable velour ear pads. The membrane, which is manufactured in two layers according to the patented Varimotion system, is driven by high-quality neodymium magnets, which almost completely eliminates distortion. The coil is wound from flat wire and therefore offers ideal impulse fidelity and crystal-clear treble reproduction. This means that the listener is well-equipped for all purposes in the studio, with special emphasis on controlling the overall mix during recording or mastering. The outstanding daytime comfort is based on the well-known self-adjusting AKG automatic headband with genuine leather headband in combination with the single-sided cable routing and enables fatigue-free listening even during longer sessions - of course, the low weight of the handset is also responsible for this. The system is rounded off by the high-quality workmanship and the appealingly discreet appearance in brushed aluminium design in contrast to the matt black surface.
