As an Australian living in the United States and heading back home soon for some time to the Northern Territory, this hat will provide the sun protection in a hot barren landscape.Made the mistake of getting one too small and now my American girlfriend will rocking my old hat which I gave to her for the same trip to Oz.Needless to say, she fell in love with it and is clinging on to it for dear life.If you're going to use it the way it was intended, I would recommend the internal hat liner should be removed for more breathability.
