The monitor itself has amazing picture quality and the wide array of setting is awesome too. I've run into a problem with setting up the refresh rate and I can't find any solutions on the dell website or reviews. The closest thing I've found was on Reddit saying my graphics card may possibly be outdated by i disproved that information. I have a evga gtx 1080 ftw and I'm unable to go above 360hz. In nvidia control panel Im given the option to up the hertz to 500 but every time I it just automatically reverts to 360hz without asking me to save my changes. Im currently using the dp 1.4 cable that came with the monitor and I looked into my card specifications. My card is dp 1.4 compatible. If someone has a solution please reach out this is the only reason my review ... MoreThe monitor itself has amazing picture quality and the wide array of setting is awesome too. This is my second purchase. An Aurora R7 about 5ish years ago and now the Aurora R16 just about a month ago and I am extatic about them both. The R7 still works great although I need to get a sound card for it, it still runs everything great. Could not be more pleased with the R16. Everything is running smoother than silk. Could not be happier. And the service and shipping was fast and care was taken on all my deliveries. 5 stars all around!

Great picture. The slots and ports beneath the screen did not match the installation guide included. Plus, why doesn't Dell put numbers above the ports and slots that correspond to the correct ones on the computer? Identify cable as Cable 1 connected to Port 1 on monitor connected to Port 1 on back of computer? The small card identifying the ports did not match the ones on my computer. Why not help out the poor 'ol' customer who just spent big bucks? This is not brain surgery folks.

I began my journey with two separate chats to ensure I was looking at the monitors best suited to my needs. That led me to purchase this monitor for my sons' gaming system. The monitor was expedited and arrived in two days. Box and monitor were in perfect shape. Easy setup detection as a second monitor. My son LOVES it!
I am delighted to share my thoughts on the Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor system. It has truly exceeded my expectations. Having used several monitors in the past, this one offers unparalleled immersion. The visual quality is outstanding, and the sound complements the experience perfectly. This monitor has made a lasting impression on me, and I couldn't be more satisfied with it.
The monitor is perfect for what I needed: something smaller in size, without being too small, and clear. The 500Hz is cool, but most computers and connectors cannot output that speed (including anything I have). It does run 240hz without any issues. The price made it easy for me to choose this one as I feel I have a monitor with more capability and features than the cost.
Alienware AW2523HF 360hz monitor is great for gaming in general. FPS/MOBA/MMO doesn't matter the game is just very smooth and for the price you really can't get a better monitor. Alienware makes amazing products and I was very impressed. The color settings on the monitor are also very in depth and great. Anybody interested in a 360hz shouldn't hesitate to buy this.
GORGEOUS monitor! So gorgeous, I bought 2! Incredibly fast response time! Colors are vibrant! Headphone holder included! Bought 2 of AW2524H to help compliment the new Alienware m18R1 gaming laptop which has a screen display of 18" FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 480Hz, 3ms, ComfortView Plus, NVIDIA G-SYNC + DDS, 100% DCI-P3 You must be saying "3 displays that has 480Hz with 2 of displays can go up to 500Hz? That's SICK!" My response? "Yep! EXACTLY!" Simply THE BEST monitors I have EVER owned! AW2524H is the one monitor to rule them all!
I have had the monitor for about a week so this isnt a fully review, but as of now, 5 stars. The panel has good clarity while playing games like CSGO and with gsync built in and enabled (along with a decent HDR implementation) playing other games like Sons of the Forest look good and have 0 stutter or screen tearing. My concern with the monitor was around viewing angles and color accuracy (something most esports monitors are terrible at) when playing non Esports games where things like HDR are more important and play into the game itself but i was pleasantly surprised by the color accuracy and decent viewing angles while using the monitor (ie you don't need to be dead center of the screen to avoid weird dark edges in the corners). The one issue (i guess) would be ... MoreI have had the monitor for about a week so this isnt a fully review, but as of now, 5 stars. The one issue (i guess) would be that darks definitely come throw as grey-ish, but this is a known IPS function when viewing dark areas (and this is an esport first monitor) so I personally dont find it bothersome but if you are looking for something with inky-blacks and dont play any fast paced eSports games, this probably isn't the monitor for you
